Fasten your seatbelt folks cause you are in for one wild ride! Instigation follows the story of Brie a lonely woman who is swept off her feet by the sexy, rich and enigmatic Adrian. Her life seems full and happy at first until things start to unravel and she realizes that not only is Adrian not who she thought he was but she's not who she that she was to him.
When Adrian leaves for an extended business trip, Rafe comes to do construction on the property and Brie is trying to figure out how to get out this house and away from the prison that is her relationship. The attraction undeniable. The chemistry explosive. Rafe treats her in a way she always wanted to be treated and she decides to risk her heart once again. But nothing is ever what it seems.
THIS IS NOT A LOVE TRIANGLE NOR IS THERE CHEATING.
Instigation is a tale of lies, lust, secrets and betrayal. Where what lies on the surface is nothing compared to what lies beneath. Where past and present collide and at the end it leaves the reader with their jaw on the floor, begging for the next book like yesterday! This is a cliffhanger and though I'm not usually a fan of good old cliffy, right now he is my new bestie.
This is nothing like Tessa's previous books. She took a risk in this and man did it pay off. I read this book in a matter of hours. I could not put it down! The anticipation of what's to come next was radiating through me from page one. The twists and turns were just brilliant! The writing and character development was flawless. I liked them all even the villain in this book!
Tessa did an amazing job at keeping the reader hooked and weaving an intricate tale that takes the reader on a roller coaster of a ride!
Hands down her best book written so far! I give this 5-Tessa I want to cut you for making me wait till August for the next one-stars!

HO LEE AWESOME SAUCE this book was amazing!!!! Drama, revenge, secrets, innocence, lust, and a twist that will knock your sock straight off your feet. This book had so much more than I realized I wanted and needed. I hooked me right from the start and the angst alone almost killed me! So juicy and sexy I just couldn’t put it down. The plot, setting and over all story line were inviting and teased my sense of mystery.
OH MY GOD the men….I wanted to beat Adrian and love Rafe. Wait then I wanted to beat Rafe and love Adrian!!! I can’t believe that one book can have me so torn up and twisted and still craving page after page. These two main men had it all going on. Rich and powerful vs. rugged and suave I wanted them both. I could see easily how Brie fell for them. They both possessed a power over her that was undeniably swoon worthy. Each in their own way they put a spell on her that was so hard to break. Now figuring out who is good and evil is the greatest test!!!
Brie…I wasn’t sure I liked her. She was so naive and trusting. I mean falling for 2 men that could crush her and break her spirit. But as the book went on, I started to see how incredibly strong she was. She overcame so much personal turmoil and emerged stronger and braver. She is a lover at heart and a trusting soul and that is what won me over with her. I like a strong yet compassionate woman and I believe that was her. She’s just looking for her happily ever after and now but is she up for the challenge of finding him??? We shall see…
LOVED LOVED LOVED this book. Tessa does not disappoint and this was no exception! I was so on the edge of my seat and finished this book in one sitting. I swear I want to throw my kindle now that I have to wait for the next book but the idea that there is another book is worth the wait. I am so in love with these characters and am so happy that their story will continue…good or bad this is an explosive story and 100% worth the ride that the book will take you on! I recommend it totally and give it a 5 thrilling stars all the way!

I had to stop and really think about how I was going to write this review because I wanted to give away to much with my 1st one so I’m redoing it so I don’t give away to much.
Well what can I say about this book. I was completely pulled into this story from the start. I found myself at times holding my breath while other times I found myself asking “what in the world were you thinking”
This book left me wanting so much more. I cant wait for the 2nd one. I thought I knew what was really going on through out the book than BAM it takes a turn and goes a way I never saw coming. This book is a very twisted in your face book that you will not be able to put down. You will think you know what is about to happen only for something totally different to happen. I will tell you this is a HUGE cliff hanger.
If you like a romantic suspense than you will love this book!! I most certainly did!!

Well this is a story with one hell of a cliffhanger...
Gabriella lost both her parents in an horrific double murder when she was 19.
Life has been hard for her. Her parents didn't leave her any type of inheritance and she has never felt more isolated or alone.
Then she meets Adrian. For the first time since her parents were killed she feels a connection to someone. She feels she is no longer alone.
Then he becomes controlling and she wants out of their relationship. He is not willing to let her go.
Then she meets Rafe. He is everything Adrian is not and if offering Gabriella something Adrian never did. With Rafe she has choices, freedom and passion.
The more time she spends with Rafe, the more she realizes her life with Adrian is not what she thought.
This story is full of mystery and suspense. It will keep you guessing from start to finish. There is a lot of angst and emotion packed into this short story. It is fast paced and will keep you on your toes all the way through.
If you like a story that is intriguing, clever and don't mind twist, turns and huge cliffhangers than you will definitely enjoy this book and I would recommend you go and grab yourself a copy!

A devilish, almost villainous grin graced his lips as his eyes filled with amusement. “Oh, Gabriella, you’ve no idea,” he said. “I shouldn’t do this. I shouldn’t be here, but I can’t seem to help myself.”
His words caught me off guard as his hands gripped my hips and he pushed me backwards until the brick of the wall bit into the skin of my lower back. He leaned down until his lips were dangerously close to mine. My insides quivered, and my heart leaped into my throat. For an entire week, I’d been waiting for his hands to be on me again, and now that he was right there, I knew I’d die if he didn’t touch me. Kiss me. Take me home and ravish me like he had that first night.
“Adrian,” I whispered, surprised at the breathy, sultry tone of my voice. God, it’d only been a week and I was already dangerously addicted to him.
His eyes gleamed as if he could read my mind, and I wondered if this has been his plan all along. To give me a taste, a perfect sneak peek at what being his would be like, and then take it away, only to keep showing up to tease me. To dangle the proverbial carrot on the string that was too high for me to get a taste or even the slightest nibble. It would suffice only for a moment, but it would be just enough to keep me from going insane. He was a deranged Pavlov and I was his little dog, salivating and panting, wanting him, that torturous bell ringing over and over again, but instead of giving me what I wanted, he kept it too far out of reach.
