When her mother’s incessant matchmaking hits an all-time high, Georgie Archibald does what any sensible woman would do: she flees the country.
Seeking refuge in the picturesque seaside village of Vernazza, Italy, Georgie’s only plan is to lie low, gorge herself on gelato, and let the wine and waves wash her troubles away...that is until she wakes up in a bed that belongs to the most romantic-looking man she’s ever seen.
After going out of his way to rescue her, the former London financier turned mysterious recluse makes it clear that despite acting as her white knight, he has no plans to co-star in her fairytale.
But Georgie isn’t asking for his heart—she’s merely intrigued.
After all, Gianluca isn’t just gorgeous—tall and tan from days spent in the sun—his touch sets her world on fire. With him, Georgie experiences the most intoxicating passion she’s ever known, and it only takes a few steamy nights for her to realize that sometimes running away from trouble is the best way to find it.

Review by: Gina

When I first met Georgie in The Summer Games: Settling The Score,  I knew she needed her own book and I am beyond thrilled the author wrote it.  I was Team Georgie from the beginning! She is just so fun,  spunky, and she has that very memorable personality. Then there's  Gialuca...swoon! With tragedy in his past,  he seemed to be just going through the motions. Content with his life, but Georgie seemed to show him how to live! She was relentless and never gave up.  In the end it paid off.

I was captivated from the beginning! There is humor, drama, and some very hot love making!  I loved all the sexual tension! It just made the reward that much more sweeter! The characters were amazing and well devolped. The book takes place in Italy. The author does a great job describing the area without making it feel like a travel guide. She keeps the main focus on the story of Georgie and GiaIuca. I don't comment about this too often but the cover of this book is gorgeous, along with the interior chapter headings.  It's the little things like that, that make me appreciate a book much more. Overall,  this book is simple amazing! The author surprises me with each new book she writes.  This is a must read!

Review by: Amy C

I could feel myself in Vernazza. The sweet clean salty air sweeping past all of my senses. I could see the landscape, the small square and all of the people bustling around. Rachel made the whole story bursting with feelings. Surrounded me with experiences I may never feel in my reality, yet seemed so close to what I wold believe it all to be. She took characters that blended and meshed together seamlessly and made them so magically a part of , everyday while reading.

Gianluca was so broody and hell bent of a life alone in soils. He could live out his days barely existing. Georgie needed a break and came stumbling into the square collapsing on spot. She desired more than a chomping, stuffy suited Brit to fancy... She needed the happily ever after. They had no idea that it would be the imperfect  in each other that was so perfectly fitted for each other. The characters were lovely and possessed a serenity that fit so well with the laid back village they came to call home.

I really loved this book. From the easy transition of busy British life to the calm  serenity of the sea side Italian town. The characters were uniquely written and complexly intertwined  with each other. The location was absolutely AMAZING! I honestly could picture every scene of this book because the attention to detail was suburb. As sweet as gelato and as sultry as a fine wine, this book really had it all! Completely recommend.

I am a lover of books, chocolate, reality TV, black labs, and cold weather. Seriously, if I had it my way I would be curled up on the couch with all of those things... everyday.

I live in Texas where I spend my free time writing and reading. My favorite authors are Mindy Kaling & Jonathan Safran Foer. I'm a comedy geek and love all things "funny". Women like Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Mindy Kaling are definitely the biggest inspirations for my writing, though I think my work tends to skew a bit smuttier than theirs.

Review by: Kim

Ever read a book that you're not to sure about, but then find yourself so engaged in the story that everything fades away except the words in front of your eyes?
Well, Fight is exactly that.
Molly McLain has written a story that will grip your heart, make you roll your eyes and cuss out loud too.
If there's trouble to be found- Colton and Taylor will somehow be right smack in the middle.
The trials these two lover's go through. Even though both Col and Tee are young they face each obstacle with a maturity that astounded me. And the best thing was not once did they stop fighting for each other. So uplifting!
This book truly shows the resilience of a love that is meant to be.
I love that there's better health for Taylor's dad and I also was glad for the slight twist the author gave a relationship in trouble.
Molly McLain writes with such emotion and feeling. It's so easy to see that Taylor and Colton are more than just characters on a page.
And it really is satisfying when the bad people get what they deserve.
I know this is a two part series, but if you're wanting something that'll leave you with a smile then read Velocity #1 & #2.

About the Author

Like many novelists, especially romance writers, my infatuation with a good love story began early. I don’t remember exactly how old I was, but I’ll admit that Barbie and Ken acted more than a couple of the story lines I had in my head (sorry, Mom, but, no, not all of them were kid-appropriate). The obsession continued to grow as I got older and, whenever I left home, I always had a wire-bound notebook and a blue ballpoint pen in hand. In fact, every August, I still get that goofy, schoolgirl itch to buy up oodles of pens and paper, because, while I love my laptop, nothing compares to writing long-hand. If the house is quiet and there’s a thunderstorm rumbling outside, even better.
Not that I have the slightest a clue what a quiet house is anymore. Having three rambunctious (but awesome) kids, a zippy dog and a pesky cat has completely blurred my memory of peace and quiet. Oh, and I have a husband too–I call him the FisherGuy–and he’s probably louder and crazier than all the rest. I think I’ll keep him though. After all, he keeps me in fresh fish year-round (yum!) and he’s good hero material. Did I mention he’s also a firefighter?
We live in Northern Wisconsin and, let me tell ya, living here has provided lots of small-town fodder for this writer’s overactive imagination. Of course, I know no one who’s lived anything close to the steamy experiences I write about (not that I’d tell ya if I did *wink*). There’s something inherently sexy about not knowing what goes on behind closed doors…or even better, letting my imagination run free, concocting all kinds of stories and scenarios and putting them down on paper. Or my laptop.
2014 is going to be a big year for me, as I debut my first novel early in the spring and the majority of the remaining series as the year goes on. I’ll also be releasing at least one, hopefully two, books in a second series. Both are set in small towns and both will feature smart, spunky heroines and sexy, smokin’ hot heroes. Oh, and romance…sometimes sweet and sometimes sizzling.

Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas • RELEASE BLITZ, REVIEW & GIVEAWAY

Title: Punk 57
Genre: New Adult
Author: Penelope Douglas
Release Date: October 21, 2016

From New York Times Bestselling Author, Penelope Douglas, comes the latest New Adult romance of love, hate, and everything in between...

"We were perfect together. Until we met."

I can’t help but smile at the lyrics in her letter. She misses me.
In fifth grade, my teacher set us up with pen pals from a different school. Thinking I was a girl, with a name like Misha, the other teacher paired me up with her student, Ryen. My teacher, believing Ryen was a boy like me, agreed.
It didn’t take long for us to figure out the mistake. And in no time at all, we were arguing about everything. The best take-out pizza. Android vs. iPhone. Whether or not Eminem is the greatest rapper ever…
And that was the start. For the next seven years, it was us.
Her letters are always on black paper with silver writing. Sometimes there’s one a week or three in a day, but I need them. She’s the only one who keeps me on track, talks me down, and accepts everything I am.
We only had three rules. No social media, no phone numbers, no pictures. We had a good thing going. Why ruin it?
Until I run across a photo of a girl online. Name’s Ryen, loves Gallo’s pizza, and worships her iPhone. What are the chances?
F*ck it. I need to meet her.
I just don’t expect to hate what I find.

He hasn’t written in three months. Something’s wrong. Did he die? Get arrested? Knowing Misha, neither would be a stretch.
Without him around, I’m going crazy. I need to know someone is listening. It’s my own fault. I should’ve gotten his phone number or picture or something.
He could be gone forever.
Or right under my nose, and I wouldn’t even know it.

*Punk 57 is a stand alone New Adult romance. It is suitable for ages 18+.

I was just absolutely blown away by this book! The storyline was like something I've never read before. It was captivating and complex and I didn't want it to end.

There are so many different pieces to this puzzle but the author flawlessly pieces them all together! The characters were fantastic! Misha had this his own crazy story and then Ryen had her story but then put them together and BOOM!! It was just explosive! I'm still wrapping my head around everything that happened!

This had one of the most interesting storylines I've ever read! These two characters start off as pen pal but continue to keep their connection as the years go one. Through certain circumstances they are brought together. There is a lot of stuff happening in this book but I found every detail to be substantial. And all the connections made through out the book not only caught me off guard but made sense to why they happened. From the beginning of the book, all the way to the end was surprised. It kept me guessing and had me gasping because I was so shocked.

Overall, this is a MUST READ! This is a top favorite book for the year! It just blew me way with the characters, the story, and the writing! Highly Recommend Punk 57!!!!

Review by: Tatia

The words on these pages aren't there just to create another book. They mean so much more than that. They may not mean the same thing to everyone. They may not even mean anything to some. But to those that these words do touch, these words will mean the world. This book is on a whole different level. The way these words were put together, it's art at its finest. I was so consumed by it all. The way they fit like a puzzle. I couldn't get enough. This is one of those stories that you find yourself getting lost in, not realizing how much time has passed, not realizing that the world outside is still moving while you're delving deeper into this story that is holding your heart captive.

Ryen and Misha have a different story. What started out as pen pals evolves over the years into a relationship that is read, not seen. They have no idea what each other looks like, just that they're best friends. They tell each other things that no one knows. Until one day, Misha's letters just stop. But Ryen never gives up. Ryen won't ever give up. Then Masen comes in to the picture. While Masen can't replace Misha, he fills the void that Misha left.
Lies are told. So many that once the truth comes out, it's hard to decipher what's the truth and what was just another lie. Was anything real? You'll question everything while piecing together parts of another puzzle that is intertwined in it all.

Penelope Douglas weaves a story that I couldn't get enough of. My heart was beating fast, my pulse was skyrocketing, my eyes bulging out of my head, and I found myself holding my breath at times when I would put another piece of the puzzle together. It's mysterious, it's sexy, but it's also touching. You find yourself wishing the girl would just be herself, stop hiding behind the facade she's built over the years.

"No one does you better than you."

I'm ruined by this book. I'm going to be rereading it numerous times because i can't get enough. This is a story that people won't be able to stop talking about. I know I can't stop thinking about it.

Penelope Douglas is brilliant!!  That was made obvious with books like Bully and Corrupt but, she's taken it a step farther with this one.  She's always written an amazing anti-hero someone you shouldn't love but do.  She's does that again with Misha but she's takes to a whole other level with Ryen.

I loved Ryen her character was so honest and refreshing.  I can't even explain how wonderful she is without giving things away but, this book was worth reading for her character alone.

When I think back to my years as a teenager, about who I was and who the people around me were I see Ryen, Ten, Lyla, Trey, J.D., Misha, and Manny.  These are really people you would find in a classroom then and now. The things that occurred in this book are happening in schools everywhere.  The fact that she wrote a book so true to life is inspiring.

Every part of this book was perfection.  I loved every second of this brilliant book.
