MODEL BOYFRIEND by STUART REARDON & JANE HARVEY-BERRICK • COVER REVEAL

PUBLISHED JULY 10

SYNOPSIS

A powerful contemporary romance set in the fast-moving world of international modelling.

What’s it like dating one of the most beautiful men in the world? A man whose face is on every magazine and ad campaign?

Not as much fun as it sounds, as Anna Scott is about to find out.

Retired from rugby at the age of 33, injured and bored, Nick is given the chance to enter the high stakes world of fashion photography as a model.

But behind the glittering fa├žade lies an ugly reality: drugs, alcohol, all the deadly sins, and people willing to sleep their way to the top.

It’s a tough life and tougher on relationships.

Nick needs to learn to navigate the treacherous path quickly or risk losing it all—including the woman who has become his reason for living.

In this glamorous world, there is no room for error. Being a MODEL BOYFRIEND has never been harder.

Can nice guy Nick find his way through, or will he be tempted to risk it all? Because the one thing he despises is failure.

He’s a lot more than a pretty face.

This story continues where UNDEFEATED left off, although it can also be read as a stand-alone story in its own right.

The Vetrov name comes with expectation. My role in this world is simple: do as Father asks and live my life how he planned it. My future is already written: run the empire. Old Values. Old Rule. Old Money. Until her. Everything I do lacks purpose. Everything I do is empty. Women. Money. Power. It meant nothing. Until her. When the Volkov rose showed up at my home a disgraced package, hand-delivered by a Vasiliev prince, I began paving my own path. I vowed to make her bloom once more. She consumed me. Her. Her. Her. But you can’t love a rose and expect not to be damaged by her thorns. She cut me too deep. And I bled out. My soul fled. All that’s left is a cold, calculating monster. I am Veniamin. Volcanic. Victorious. Valiant. Vetrov. When you enter my world to play games, prepare to lose. In the end, I always find the thorn in my side, and I pluck it right out.

Her other passions besides writing include reading and graphic design. K can always be found in front of her computer chasing her next idea and taking action. She looks forward to the day when she will see one of her titles on the big screen.

About Ker Dukey

My books all tend to be darker romance, edge of you seat, angst filled reads. My advice to my readers when starting one of my titles…prepare for the unexpected. I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters growing up. My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made from light; some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling. When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.

CHASING HIM
By Kennedy Fox
Release Day:
iBooks only – June 26  -
KU RELEASE - JUNE 28

John Bishop isn’t your typical single dad. Reserved, impatient, and utterly clueless. Running the family’s bed and breakfast has many perks. Working long hours, picking up after the guests, and hearing couples going at it all night long aren’t any of them. Hooking up with girls who come to the ranch for horseback riding lessons? Best perk of them all. That is until a baby shows up at his doorstep with a note claiming it’s his. Growing up on a ranch was anything but easy, but raising a newborn is proving to be the hardest task he’ll ever tackle. Leaving the bachelor life behind, his only priority is to hire a nanny who can teach him a thing or two about parenting—except he doesn’t anticipate her being gorgeous and quirky with an unhealthy football obsession. Mila Carmichael has many talents—making balloon animals, creating origami art, and remaining in the friend zone. Often seen as one of the guys, she’s struck out more times than a rookie baseball player. Seeking a new adventure, she flies to Texas to visit family and is offered a position she can’t refuse. Helping out a new dad should come easy to her, considering her past experience, but what she doesn’t anticipate is him being an attractive Southern temptation. But that’s only the beginning. While growing close to his family and falling madly in love with the baby girl who’s stealing their hearts, things are bound to get complicated. Everyone knows not to mix business with pleasure. That means no late movie nights, no stolen glances, and definitely no kissing behind closed doors. Too bad the universe has other plans—one that’ll threaten taking away the main thing that binds them together.

Review by: Tatia

I've been waiting for John Bishop's story ever since we got a taste of it. I knew he was left a baby on his front step at the B&B, I just didn't know by whom. I NEEDED to know!
I swear this series gets better which each new release. I get that much more addicted and crave
We know John needs help, he's just hesitant to accept it from anyone but family. Don't worry, you know Mama Bishop will take care of it. This is where the gorgeous Mila comes in. Sure she's only visiting her grandparents for the summer, doesn't mean she can't work a little. Maybe something can persuade her to stick around longer. Before you know it, John's actually being nice and showing his fun side. Well, his bi-polar side too. He doesn't want Jackson to date her but then tells her she can. Huh? You did the head tilt too, right? Mila is just as confused. Thank goodness she has her cousin to talk everything through.
We're used to the romances that hit you fast. Not John. He's a take things slow kinda guy which I love. A good slow burn to keep your shoulders tight wondering when that moment is going to happen. This story just proves why this author (these authors rather) are some of my favorites!

John’s POV

As soon as I walk into the living room, I see Mila in tight blue jeans and a low cut shirt that shows way too much cleavage. “Nope.” Resting my hands on my hips, I look at her, trying not to stare at her chest. It doesn’t help that her nipples are hard as a damn rock either. Fuck. Eyes up. “Nope, what?” she asks, furrowing her brows in confusion as she grabs Maize out of the swing. “You can’t wear that shirt. Actually, we should probably set some ground rules since you’ll be staying here around the clock.” Mila rolls her eyes and kneels down in front of the carseat. She’s dressed Maize in an outfit that says something about Grandma being her favorite, and I know Mama is going to love it. “Is that what you do ‘round here? Make rules for everyone?” She arches an eyebrow with a cocky smirk on her face. Tilting my head, I narrow my eyes and study her. “What’s that supposed to mean?” “Ask Jackson.” She carefully places Maize in the car seat and straps her in. I suck in a deep breath remembering the nanny rules I’d given Jackson, the ones she wasn’t supposed to hear. “Jackson needs rules. He has zero boundaries. And it’s not like he listens to anyone anyway. Trust me. It’s an open invitation to flirting and ridiculous comments from him. So you can’t be wearing shirts like that around him.” “...or I can’t be wearing shirts like this around you?” she quips, not paying any attention to how frustrated I’m becoming. “I think I can handle Jackson, so stop worrying yourself.” “Whatever, Mila.” She straightens up and looks me dead in the eyes. “You’re my boss and you can make any crazy rules you want when it comes to your baby, but you don’t get to tell me what I can and can’t wear, unless you’re instating a dress code for me and if that’s the case, I want a raise and a clothes allowance then.” I scoff, crossing my arms over my chest that’s rising and falling rapidly. “How much for you to wear baggy overalls and turtlenecks every day?” “You’ve got jokes, do you?” she mutters, not amused. “Why not just put a chastity belt on me too while you’re at it?” I grunt, thinking that’s not a bad idea actually.

War and Love by Winter Renshaw • RELEASE TOUR & REVIEW

My lies? Impeccable.

My heart? Cold as ice.

My only job? To convince her what we had was as real as the diamond I intended to place on her finger.

The battle was someone else’s. I was merely a soldier, recruited by a wealthy stranger who made it unapologetically clear that my future—and everything I’ve ever worked—for depended on the successful completion of this mission.

I was prepared for war.

But I wasn’t prepared for Love Aldridge

Review by: Stacey

War and Love by Winter Renshaw is an am amazing story! Love is a wonderful person! She just married a total douche bag Hunter! Hunter makes an offer/Blackmails Jude and the story is amazingly addicting! It was refreshing for something new and not having a clue what was going to happen! I loved the dynamic between Jude and Love! Their chemistry was off the charts and I loved how they just connected but due to the circumstances your heart breaks for Jude knowing it will all fall in him & end in a broken Love....or will it? This story is worth the read and will definitely not disappoint! I loved it page after page!

Jude

“You know she’s way too good for you, right?” Lo says, rocking Ellie on her hip as she stands in my kitchen.
“Yep.”
“Like … way.” She laughs through her nose, studying my outfit. “It’s weird seeing you like this.”
“Like what?”
Lo rolls her eyes. “You know. No ripped jeans or vintage Ramones t-shirts. Hair actually combed for once.”
I know I look like a schmuck with my pressed slacks and cashmere sweater and shiny Italian loafers and hair parted on the side and slicked with brill cream, but this is all part of Hunter’s master plan.
“If you want to hook Love, you have to use the right bait,” he’d said, comparing his ex-wife to a fucking fish.
“God, this place is amazing,” Lo says, carrying Ellie from the kitchen to the living room, where she hones in on the kind of view we only ever dreamed of.
“Sure beats our fourth floor walk-up.”
She smirks. “Yeah. Just a little.”
“I Venmo’d you the rent money this morning,” I said. “Next six months are covered. There’s some extra for food and Piper’s meds.”
Lo turns to me, her smart-ass expression fading. She’s tough as rocks, but I swear I see a hint of tears brimming in her eyes. She doesn’t have to say a word. I know what this means to her. After her deadbeat ex was hauled off to prison a couple years back for running drugs (unbeknownst to all of us), she found herself a twenty-three-year-old single mother with a toddler and a newborn, no job, and no way to feed them.
At the time, I’d been out of the Army for a few years, had just finished my plumbing apprenticeship, and landed a decent job at Premier Plumb and Supply in Brooklyn. As soon as Lo finally admitted to me that she was struggling and about to become evicted, I found a hole-in-the-wall two-bedroom above a pizza shop and moved them in, vowing to help her get on her feet.
Now, during the day, Lo stays home with the girls. At night she waits tables at some exclusive restaurant on 67th Street, heading into the city shortly after the girls go down for the night. Tips are decent and the hours are shit, but she doesn’t complain because this has always been temporary.
The plan was for her to start nursing school at Touro, and she was going to start this summer. But I lost my job a few months back due to cutbacks, and one of us had to make sure the rent was still being paid.
“You sure you want to do this?” Lo asks, biting her lower lip as Ellie runs her chubby fingers through her hair.
Piper is seated in the cognac chair across from the TV, messing with a remote that I’m pretty sure belongs to the fireplace.
“What choice do I have?” I’d spent the last three months applying for jobs, but all the ones I could find had shitty pay, zero benefits, or shady reputations. I booked every music gig I could find, playing at any bar that would so much as take me for an hour or two at night, but it didn’t make up for the lost wages, and most of it went toward Piper’s meds anyway.
“We could always move,” she says.
“It costs money to move, Lo. And we don’t have that right now.” My tone is short and I don’t mean to come at her that way, but I don’t need to be reminded that what I’m doing is nothing less than heartless. “As soon as this is over, we can look into moving somewhere cheap and safe. With good people and even better schools. All this stress, this bullshit? It’s about to end.”
Taking a seat at a kitchen bar stool, I slump my elbow on the counter and exhale.
“She seems really nice,” Lo says. “Sweet.”
“I know.”
“And she just went through a divorce,” she adds. “She’s probably already heartbroken. And you’re just going to come in and—”
Fuck. “I know.”
Lo doesn’t manage our finances. She doesn’t see that we’re one rough month away from being out on the street, one unexpected bill away from Piper not having her EpiPen or inhaler when she needs it.
A million dollars and a record deal.
That’s what this deal is worth to Hunter LeGrand, that’s what he laid on the table. And before I had a chance to so much as think it over, he was elaborating on the fact that he’s “well connected” and he can “make shit happen” and he has no qualms about “blacklisting people like you” should they deserve it. He also felt the need to remind me that singer-songwriters like me were on every street corner in Manhattan, that I could always make a living busking in the subways or singing covers on YouTube if this deal didn’t pan out because he’d personally see to it that my name would never be in lights.
“The girls are probably hungry,” I say to Lo, checking my watch. “Let’s grab something.”
My sister moves Ellie to her other hip, her eyes snapping to the floor. “It’s okay. We should get going so we can catch the five.”
“I thought I was taking you guys out for lunch … made us reservations at Serendipity III.”
“I’m sorry, Jude. After seeing her … it just doesn’t feel right spending your blood money on frozen hot chocolate.”
My sister can be so fucking dramatic sometimes.
“It’s not blood money, Lo,” I say, half-chuckling. “No one’s getting offed.”
“You know what I mean.” She speaks quickly and her gaze moves to mine. “Come on, Pipes. Let’s go.”
Piper places the fireplace remote on the table where she found it and slides off the leather chair, dashing across the living room toward her mother, her dark pigtails bouncing.
A second later, the three of them head to the door, only before they leave, Lo turns to me. “The place is great and all, Jude, but don’t get too comfortable in case this whole thing blows up in your face. Because it will. And when it does, don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
They leave before I have a chance to respond, and I’m left with my kid sister’s words echoing in my head, resonating off the deepest fragments of my conscience and all the parts of me that wish I never walked into Blue Stream Records that random Tuesday in May, flash drive demo in hand, and crossed paths with the CEO himself in the elevator lobby.
I should’ve known when Hunter said, “I don’t normally take unsolicited demos, but you seem like exactly the kind of act I’m looking for right now,” that he wasn’t talking about music.

Not at all.

I loved everything. Every word. Every emotion. I couldn't put this story down. Lizzie, or Beth as she wants to be known now is trying to find herself again. For the past few years, it's all been about moving on from her sister's death. Now, it's her senior year and all she wants is a little freedom and adventure. That adventure starts with Chase. If only she knew then what she knows now. Isn't that what everyone says?
This story was all about forgiveness, moving on from a tragedy, and growing up. It's amazing what Beth as a teenager is able to do and see that even most of the adults in the story cannot. People were hurt and lives were changed. That doesn't mean life has to stop. Beth was able to see that and understand it. She wanted to live. She wanted her family back. She wanted her friend. I hoped and prayed for a specific outcome. I wanted so many things to happen. I laughed. I teared up. I experienced it all. Now I want to read about Beth's college years. Can we get those? Thanks!

Review by: Flavia

This book was like what??? I can't even explain.
Beth is A 17-year-old girl who is supposed to be having the time of her life, enjoying her teenage years, and yet her life is anything but a party. After her sister died, it feels like her life was over too... Her grief was so painful and it was like you were there experiencing her pain. Seriously her parents, I can't even, her mother I wanted to shake really really hard. After sneaking out one night to just have fun and let loose, she meets Chase... He intrigues her and she is instantly attracted to him. After spending the night together, she thought she would never see him again. But she is surprised that he is the new guy at her school but also the guy who killed her sister.
Her one night of rebelling has turned into complicated. After what he has done, she should hate him, she should have nothing to do with him, but she can't. She can't regret their night together, and she can't stop thinking about him.
All Chase wanted was a fresh start, His life has not been easy the last couple of years, now he has served his time and he just needs a break. But it doesn't seem like that's going to happen. With everyone 'hating' him and trying to stay away from Beth, it seems his life is destined to be complicated.
Will it even be possible for him to be with Beth, after everything that happened? Will Beth take the risk of being with Chase and leave everything and everyone behind or will she give in to everyone controlling her and living her life for her?

Sweet, heartbreaking second chance story. Two people who have lost so much and just trying to live their life. Finding happiness in each other, but will everyone give them that happiness or take it away from them?
I love this author, she writes heartbreaking emotional rollercoaster books that will have you crying, angry and so much more.

Just One Touch by CA Harms • Spotlight Tour & Review

Title: Just One Touch
Series: Oh Tequila Series #3
Author: C.A. Harms
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Publication Date: June 19, 2018 Publisher: Limitless Publishing

I should have known this would happen...
Nothing about my fraternity was ever simple. Parties, tequila – tons of tequila – and wild souvenirs from our kind of crazy.
Never, and I do mean never, did I expect my brother’s girl to target me in a midnight prank. A prank that backfired and left me squealing in pain.
Have you ever seen those shows, the ones that say the “dirty deed” sent you to the ER? Well, I went to the ER, and yes, my manhood was involved. Let me just say I gained absolutely no pleasure from it. Unless, of course, you consider that sweet nurse who treated me.
The problem? She hated me…and I had no idea why, but I wasn’t willing to let her walk away until I figured it out.
Emelie was feisty, and I’d never felt the type of excitement I did after spending only five seconds in her line of fire. I was gonna enjoy this...way more than I should, and I knew it.
She saw, she conquered, and I was defeated.
All it took was just one touch, and oh, what a ride it was.

Review by: Erin

This series just keeps getting better! These stories are hilarious with all the pranks that the guys, and girls, pull on each other. This particular story also had a depth I wasn't expecting. Clayton turned out to be a spectacular character. He has several layers that really come alive. Emelie is also one tough cookie. The way her life has taken that drastic turn, and she didn't completely fall apart, is inspiring. These two together are incredible. When you add in Ethan, it takes it to a whole new level. Definitely, a must-read for fans of CA Harms!
