BLURB

Thea Landry has always known her place in modern-day society. It’s somewhere just above the trash can her mother dumped her in as a newborn but below the class where much comes easy. With her tattered shoes and bargain-bin clothes, her life has never been full of glamour. So when a rich and charismatic man takes interest, she doesn’t fool herself into thinking their encounter is anything more than a one-night stand. Months later, she’s kicking herself for not getting his phone number. Or his last name. She’s given up hope of seeing him ever again. Until one day, years later, Logan Kendrick waltzes into her life once more and turns everything she’s built upside down. This time around, she won’t make the same mistake. She’s going to fight to keep him in her life—not for herself. But for their daughter.

The first thing I did when I finished this book and jumped on to Amazon to see what else this Author has written because I was left wanting more at the end!

Thea is an amazing character. She is a single mum & has built an amazingly fulfilling life for herself and her daughter. She is tough, independent and feisty.
Logan is self-assured and oozes old money. But he is very far removed from your stereotypical rich boy. He is a loving caring man who has the world at his feet. Now he just needs to work out how to keep it!

This is a story about hope, trust, and change. Change is good and some say it is better than a holiday. But sometimes change can be unsettling and overwhelming. This couple experience all the highs and lows of a new relationship and what I really enjoyed about this story is that yes, there was angst but it was never directed at each other. This couple genuinely cares for and love each other. There is a twist and you won’t pick in a million years who the villain is! The love that is shared between these two people is almost tangible. It leaves you with a feel-good moment at every interaction. It is the kind of love everyone wants to experience, that once in a lifetime kind. The biggest test for this couple, is can they really have it all? Can they overcome all of the obstacles in their path to obtain the dream or are they going to be forever fighting what seem to be insurmountable battles?
Well, I could tell you, but that would take away all the experiences you get from reading the story yourself!!

Review by: Flavia

What a sweet romance story. I really loved it.
Thea was just your ordinary girl, she hasn't had a good start in life. But she is strong and sassy and confident in herself. Logan is a privileged lawyer who runs his father's business. But he is also out to make the company a better one than just your ordinary rich man's business.
Thea and Logan met when he came into her bar one night and they had a one night stand. Thea never imagined how her life would change when she let him. Logan lost track of Thea, as when he met her he was very busy at work and eventually when he went back for her, she had quit and moved away. They thought they would never see each other again.

Now in Montana on a business transaction, he can't believe he ran into her again, but also that she has something of his that he didn't know of. A 6-year-old little girl, who is so freaking cute and adorable, you can't help but fall in love with her.
How is this going to work, his life is in New York, and Thea and Charlie's life is in Montana. Maybe this is his chance for his happily ever after, so maybe this is one transaction that will not be so easy for him to close
This was a sweet, beautifully written romance story. Two characters who would never have met, if Logan didn't go to the bar, meeting and setting a course that changes both of their lives for the better or not?? Definitely a story I can recommend if you love heart-wrenching stories that definitely ends up with you having a big smile of content when finishing this one.

EXCERPT

He stared at me for a long moment. “You’re sure she’s mine?” “She’s yours.” “Then that’s good enough.” “I—really?” I blinked. He didn’t want to verify paternity? He just . . . trusted me? He nodded. “Really.” “I swear, I tried to find you, Logan. On my life, I swear it. But the hotel wouldn’t give me your name no matter how much I begged. And you paid cash for your drinks and never mentioned your last name. I tried, but I just . . . didn’t know where to start.” “It’s not your fault. I believe you.” The sincerity in his voice made my throat burn. Goddamn it. I was going to cry. I’d worked so hard not to cry today. I’d fought to keep my emotions in check and my head from spinning out of control. But this was going to make me break. I wanted so badly for Logan to believe that I hadn’t kept Charlie from him intentionally. The fact that a man like him would trust someone like me without proof meant more than he’d ever know. “Thank you,” I choked out past the lump in my throat. “So, um, is Charlie inside with your husband? Or boyfriend?” The urge to cry disappeared and I barked out a laugh. “Smooth.” He chuckled. “It’s been a long day for me. Give me a break, will you? This morning I was in New York, then I came to Montana for a business meeting and discovered a daughter. I’m off my game.”
