This is the type of book you will want to read in a quiet room, by yourself because people will look at you funny when you burst out laughing. Unless, you are okay will people looking at you funny. Plain and simple, I just could not get enough of this book and did not want it to end!

I have read a few Penny Reid books and I absolutely love them! She always come up with these awesome story lines and amazing characters that makes it impossible not to like. There is a lot of humor, but there is also this certain sophistication in the writing that makes it unique.

Katy is a little socially awkward with a lot of quirks but that's what makes her so awesome! I haven't read many books where the heroine is the nerd. I just loved it when she went on and on about Lord of the Rings and Martin just looked at her all confused. It was great! There are so many great one liners, I wanted more!

I felt abruptly as though I'd just been peed on. I didn't want to be peed on.

Then there is Martin...popular, sexy, wealthy, all the girls want him, but it is Katy who catches his interest. At first, I was a little leery about Martin, but then he really grew on me. I just loved the interaction between Katy and Martin, amazing chemistry. But then it's gone...

I am super excited for the next installment because I was left hanging! Martin has a lot of explaining to do, but for now he will just sit in the dog house!

SEX! It all started with sex, between my parents. Personally I don’t like thinking about it, but whatever works for you is a-ok with me. No judgment. The sex happened in California and much of my life also occurred in that state until I moved from the land of nuts (almonds), wine, silicon… boobs, and heavy traffic to the southeast US. Like most writers I like to write, but let’s get back to sex. Eventually I married and gave birth to 2 small people-children (boy-6, girl-4 as of this writing). By day I’m a biomedical researcher with focus on rare diseases. By night I’m a knitter, sewer, lino block carver, fabric printer, soap maker, and general crafter. By the wee hours of the morning or when I’m intoxicated I love to listen to the voices in my head and let them tell me stories. I hope you enjoy their stories.
