I had life all figured out.
Married with a baby on the way I stupidly believed that things were perfect.
But then the good guy I fell in love with turned out to not be as good as I thought.
I was left alone to pick up the pieces of my life and provide for my daughter.
And then I met him.
Hayes.
The bad boy that just might not be so bad.
Three years after her husband walked out on her Arden James is struggling to make ends meet as a single mom. Despite it all, she knows she’s better off with her ex out of the picture, and so is her daughter.
Josh Hayes—player, jokester, and very naughty boy—is the guitar player for the band Willow Creek. He’s used to living the fast life, but suddenly it doesn’t appeal to him anymore, and he has his sights set on the fiery Arden.
Despite their undeniable chemistry, Arden isn’t sure she wants to invite a man into her life that has never been in a committed relationship before. But Hayes is determined to prove to her that there’s more to him than meets the eye. He just needs Arden to take a chance.

The last and final book of the willow series. It’s bitter sweet. I’ve never loved a series like I’ve loved this one. Each of the boys in the band Willow Creek have something unique about them, but when they come together they blend perfectly.
Take a Chance is about Hayes and Arden. We met Arden in the last book when she tagged along on a vacation with the band and their girlfriends. She has a three year old daughter Mia who is absolutely adorable.
In this book it starts out with Mia at work and Hayes showing up to talk to her. She has been ignoring all his calls and messages after they slept together. Arden doesn’t trust men like she used to. She comes from an abusive marriage and a husband who left her when he found out she was pregnant. She has to learn to try and trust Hayes and not let her damaged past get in the way of a future.
Of course Hayes is silly and loves to have a good time and brings a lighter side to the story. He also adores Arden’s daughter and understands that Mia will always come first.
Only what do you do when your past comes back? Arden and Hayes go through their own trails to achieve their happy ending like every couple does.
This was the perfect way to end the Willow Creek series.

Hell this series has been awesome to read! To say I am sad that it is over with is an understatement. The Willow Creek series is a must read.
Hayes and Arden's story is one you don't want to miss reading. I love the storyline and where the Author took us with it.
Hayes - Loved that he knew what he wanted and how to go about it.
Arden - Needed a bit of convincing to try things with Hayes, once she let her hair down it was all systems go.
I loved Arden's daughter Mia, she really added some spunk to the story.
Micalea has become one of my favourite Authors, I think I have read everything she has published. Y'all need to get on board with this series.
