Ryan's Love by CA Harms ~ BLOG TOUR & REVIEW

Title: Ryan's Love
Series: Sawyer Brothers #1
Author: C.A. Harms
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Published: August 11, 2015 Publisher: Limitless Publishing
One of the hardest things I have ever had to do was bury my wife.
The second hardest thing would be watching my 12 year old daughter fall to her knees as they lowered her mother into the ground to rest.
A heart wrenching vision that will forever be etched in my mind.
Claire was my best friend, she had been since we were barely old enough to talk. I always knew, one day, I would marry her. I think I may have even told her that a few times while we were growing up.
Never did I think I would lose her so suddenly.
I knew at that moment…
Our life would never be the same again…

If you want a book with lots of feels, check this one out!

It has been 3 years since Ryan lost his wife and his daughter Olivia lost her mother.
Everyone tells him it is time to move on and be happy. He has no desire to do so until he meets Amber.

Ryan comes into Amber's life at a time she least expected it. She opens her heart to him but there is just one thing standing in their way... His daughter!

I absolutely loved this book from the start right through to the end. I couldn't find anything  about it that I didn't like.  Ryan is not just a great father but he is a general all round good man. In fact I would go as far as to say he is perfect. And on top of that you will swoon and drool all over him!
Amber is an absolute sweetheart.  Although she is not Olivia's biological mother she instantly has a need to put Olivia first, even before she gets to know her.
And Olivia.. let's just say she is a perfectly normal teenager!

This couple go through lots of us and downs and the story is believable because of that. At no time while reading this book did I think it was far fetched. The author has done a fantastic job not just weaving the tale but also making it a bit realistic too.

If you love books that make you feel, make you understand the characters and empathize with them, if you want to fall in love with the characters you are reading about, then check out this book. You will love it!

This is an incredibly sweet story of a father just trying to survive for his daughter after the loss of his beloved wife. He's barely surviving, staying only as strong as his broken heart will allow. Ryan never thought he'd be a single father, never gave a second thought that he could some day lose his wife, Claire.
Ryan is strong, but there is only so much you can deal with. He's doing all he can on a daily basis to show a brave and strong front for his daughter, Olivia. When his family continues to tell him that Claire would want him to be happy and move on, he finally starts to consider it. When the new bakery owner comes to town and needs his help, he thinks she might be the one to help him dip back into the dating scene.
Amber moved from the big town of Chicago to Livingston, Montana. It's just the move she needed after ending an engagement and to get away from her almost nonexistent family.
This was a great, quick, easy read. Ryan loves fiercely, protects those close to him, and would help anyone. He and Amber make such a great. They truly are each other's perfect opposite. This book shows that sometimes second chances at love can end up being just as good as the first.

Ryan's Love by C.A Harms is one of the sweetest contemporary romance novels I have had the pleasure of reading!

The book is absolutely loaded with so many feels. From the hurt and loss Ryan and his daughter have had to live, the funnies from Amber and her hilarious friend Bailey, the sexual tension between the two lead characters, the sweet connection that builds through the story and the family and their bond was just so wholesome and adorable.

I absolutely loved Ryan's character. He finally chooses to start LIVING his life instead of just existing. And the first girl who catches his attention, happens to be the sweet city girl from Chicago that moves to Livingston, the cake baking sassy beauty that is Amber.

Ryan is an amazing man, father and made me swoon throughout the story. I sympathised with his hurt, torment and appreciated his struggle with his teen daughter. But above all of that, his humour, sexy smirk and sweet charm will have you holding onto this book!!!

Amber, I LOVED her character. Her inner monologue was relatable, I loved her feisty and sexy side. She was an absolute credit to this story. Her friendship with Bailey stood out to me the most! And I hope and pray we get Bailey's story!!! I can imagine that being one seriously WILD story!

This book is a must for fans of sweet stories, cowboys and charming romances.

The author is very talented, her writing kept me invested into the story and her writing skill was so easy to read. I can't wait to see what else this author brings to the book work, and I shall be crossing all of my body parts and stalking the author for a Bailey book!

“I’ve thought about this moment so many times,” she confessed, and I smiled against her lips, immediately remembering her confession at the bar.

“Me too, baby,” I assured her. “You are always on my mind, Amber.”

Our moans and sighs mingled as we frantically continued to undress, eager to feel one another without restriction.

Hovering over her now-naked body, I couldn’t help myself from taking a moment to appreciate her beauty. Her light brown hair fanned out over the light color of the pillow, and her perfect body beneath me begged to be touched.

I dipped my head and traced her nipple with my tongue before pulling it into my mouth and sucking softly. Her body instinctively arched toward my lips, and she combed her fingers through my hair as she moaned, pressing her breast closer to my hungry mouth. I continued to suck gently before moving to the other side to show it equal attention.

The only item of clothing still separating us were my boxers, and even they couldn’t hide how excited her body was. I could feel her heat against me as I thrust my hips forward and hit the spot that drove her wild.

“I need you, Ryan. God, I want you,” she whispered against my ear, and I removed my lips from her breast and looked up at her hungry eyes with a grin. Slowly I kissed my way up her chest and neck and over her jaw until I reached her lips once more.

Our tongues tangled as we explored each other’s mouths. “I want you too,” I confessed. “More than anything else, I want this.” We were both breathing heavily, and my heart was rapidly beating as I continued to roam my hands over her body.

Amber lifted her hips and rubbed herself against me, begging me for more without saying the words.

One of the hardest things I have ever had to do was bury my wife.
The second-hardest thing would be watching my twelve-year-old daughter fall to her knees as the preacher uttered his final words of comfort before her mother’s casket was slowly lowered into the grave. It finalized the fact that the woman we loved dearly was no longer within our reach. We would no longer be blessed by her smile or warmed by her words.
It was the most heart-wrenching sight, one that will forever be etched in my mind and which left a void in me I was positive would never be filled. It changed the man I thought I was and made me realize that loving someone with your entire heart didn’t ensure they would always be with you. There was no way to predict your fate.
Claire was my best friend; she had been since we were barely old enough to talk. I always knew I would one day marry her. I may have even told her so a few times while we were growing up. Even my brother, Noah, who is nearly a year younger than me, thought he would marry her. She was the perfect girl and had every man in Livingston, Montana, mesmerized by her looks and her personality. But she and I were meant to be.
I never thought I would lose her so suddenly. Now I was left struggling to find the strength I needed to push forward without her in my life. I couldn’t remember a day she wasn’t by my side, and now she was gone forever.
I sat in the chair looking at the deep, freshly dug grave before me, consumed by a feeling of emptiness. The air felt thick as it filtered into my lungs, making me feel like I was being suffocated. The anxiety of my loss was slowly overtaking me as I tried hard to fight the urge to break down and just give up.
“Daddy.”
Olivia’s sweet whisper pulled me from my daze, and I looked deep into her red, swollen eyes. I felt as if I had just been punched in the gut. There stood my little girl, looking broken and lost.“I miss her already,” she said, her soft voice cracking.
