    About THE ACCIDENTAL ASSASSIN:

Ava McKenzie is a creature of habit. Life is passing her by and she has nothing to show for it. She’s had the same job since she started college, she orders the same dish every time she goes to her favorite restaurant, and only reads books from authors she knows. There is nothing new or surprising in her life… until her best friend marries a man from London. When her newlywed friend asks her to house-sit while she honeymoons, Ava jumps at the chance. She thinks this could be the very thing she needs to shake up her life. Ava throws herself head first into her new lifestyle; she wants to try everything, go everywhere, and never get stuck in a rut again. Of course, offing a man in a car garage hadn’t been one of the things on her list to try.

Owen Walker spends every day in a new place with a new case. As one of the most renowned assassinsin the world, he has his choice of marks—and he’s never failed in a mission. When a new hit takes him back to his hometown, he looks forward to spending time somewhere familiar. What he isn’t expecting is to help an attractive, confused American woman find out how she’s ended up on a hit man’s list.
As Ava and Owen dodge bullets, will they be able to escape their undeniable attraction to each other? Or will all of that chemistry blow up in a shower of hot and dangerous sparks?

"People see what they want to see"..... This is exactly what is book was. Whether it's seeing the mystery behind who they are or the scary assigns that they claim to be. Watching Owen and Ava was like being a part of a dance. They had heart, soul and a dynamic that made me want to continue reading as quickly as possible. This book was fun and exciting and had me completely hooked from the first few pages.

Sweet and passive Ava had the opportunity of a life time to live life to the fullest by moving to London. She could step out of the quiet shell in which she's been living and be someone bold. Experiencing life is what she plans to do...and running into a sexy Brit in a coffee shop one days starts everything new. She is catapulted into exciting, heart stopping and one hell of an adventure. Owen gives her the something different she was looking for. Together they will defy the odds to stay alive and find that the biggest adventure they are now on is figuring out how merge two life styles together and find themselves.

This book was fun and exciting and not what I expected...In a great way! It's offered minimal angst while keeping it thrilling with every page turn. The characters were well written and the story line was very well done. I loved the story and felt very connected to the characters. Great read...I totally recommend this book! Completely enjoyed!!!

Wow, this book had it all. A female heroine who was so independent she HATED admitting she needed help. A hot British hitman who felt the overwhelming need to protect our heroine. Add in the guns and Owen's hot body and you have one hell of a story line.

This book had the suspense and romance I had hoped for. After reading the synopsis I knew I just had to read it. I however was slightly disappointed. I think it was a great concept but it just missed the mark somewhere along the way for me. Maybe after you read it, which you should, we can discuss what you thought of it.

Excerpt:

“You haven’t told me where we’re going?” We stopped at a platform with only a few people. I scratched at my back in an attempt to adjust the gun into a more comfortable position. It was rubbing a sore spot along my waist.
“Stop fidgeting.” He frowned at me.
“I can’t. The thing is rubbing me raw.” I shifted my shoulder. “I’m going to get a blister.”
Stepping behind me he ran his hands over my shoulders, squeezing gently as if massaging me. His hands slid lower in circles until he was kneading my lower back. My eyes threatened to close as he worked. If I’d been a cat I would have purred in pleasure, but I managed to control myself. His hands closed around my waist, while his thumbs pushed at the gun until it was sitting in a different spot.
“Better?” His breath teased the few loose strands of my hair.
I looked up into his eyes and nodded, not trusting myself to speak. Why did he affect me so much? This man, this self-confessed murderer, turned me to whimpering mush. Well, not whimpering. I wasn’t whimpering. Yet. But I was starting to feel a bit mush-like.
“Ava, you have to stop looking at me like that.” He pressed closer to me, his eyes dipping down to my mouth. The heat of his body washed over my back and I leaned into it, drawn like a moth to flame.
“Like what?” I licked my lips and my breathing hitched.
“Like you want me to kiss you, love.” One of his hands left my waist and drifted up to cup my chin, tilting my head a little more in his direction. Tilting his head down, his lips barely brushed against mine as he looked into my eyes. “I’m not the type of man you should want to kiss.”
“Why not?” I ached to kiss him, to feel his breath mingle with mine, but it was more than just a physical need. I also wanted to banish the lonely darkness that swirled in the back of his eyes. As much as he was protecting me, I felt this urge to take care of him.
