This is Max and Annabelle's story and boy is is heartbreaking.

Bella Jewel in typical form has brought their story to life and tells it in a way that has you holding you breath in anticipation of what is to come.

5 years ago Annabelle moved away from her husband and her family and made a new life for herself.

Now she is back under less than ideal circumstances and she is finding it very hard to start away from her hubby Max.

Max never thought he would see his wife again, but here she is after 5 years and nothing has changed with his feelings, he still wants her.

This story is full of heartbreak but the hope shines through like a bright guiding light.

When Bella Jewel writes her books she weaves a spell that holds you captivated until the very end and leaves you wanting more. She did it with the Jokers Wrath MC series, she did it with the Till Death series and she has done it again with Flawed Heart.

If you have read The Jokers Wrath MC books you will know we first met Annabelle and Max in the last book of that series and you will be happy to know the MC's old ladies appear a couple of times in Flawed Heart and they are as awesome as ever.

There is lots of sex and controlled violence in this book so if that's not your thing maybe skip it, but if you love to read about the hot sex, the raging lust and just a damn good story line then you most definitely want to one click this baby and get to reading it straight away!!

This story was incredible! Bella knows how to write a story that captures your heart. These characters are both tortured souls. Max is shattered by an accident he witnessed. He took it so hard that it messed him up emotionally. The man has the biggest heart and it really took its toll. Belle has kept a secret from Max and it is coming back to bite her. She has never stopped loving him. Belle is a very strong character to have lived the last 5 years like she has. She has done everything on her own and relied on no one. She has been very lonely. Seeing Max again throws her for a loop. He is not the same man. This man is hard and unforgiving. She is going to do her best to bring back the man she loves. Belle is very determined and strong. Max is a fighter, and he fights for what he wants.

I LOVED this story! Bella Jewel is an amazing author and you can never go wrong with one of her books!

I absolutely adored how this story started. Max is the most popular guy in high school and absolutely knows it. He is cocky, confident and the quarter back of the school football team. When he accidentally tramples a girl in the corridor, he doesn't know that it is the girl who will change his life. Belle is a cute as hell, awkward and shy blue eyed beauty who likes to remain out of the spotlight and is far from the girl Max is expected to be with. According to her own opinion of herself she is a nobody and is so confused as to why Max wants to talk to her.

This story progresses fast, and is a crossover between then and now in dual POV.

I really wish we got a whole story of the 'Then' story, because it was by far my favourite part of the book. The sweet encounters between the two main characters, the turmoil they had to suffer due to jealous peers at school. But the story quickly progresses to the now which is years later. Max is no longer playing football and has followed his fathers footsteps by running a club. Max is now all MAN. He is hot, he is alpha and very bitter.

Belle's situation is much different from the then. She is separated from Max, back in town visiting her terminally sick Mother, whilst being a mom to little Immy, who is a cute addition to the story.

At times I felt so frustrated with Belle, because she took a lot of the blame for what happened, but don't let that stop you for reading this book.

Bella Jewel has written a good story, although personally I found it a little rushed to what I usually like to read. I can't wait to read Flawed Love.

Flawed Heart was one of those books that took me quite some time to decide on a rating. For the most part, it was a very complex and gripping story. It's not to say the writing was hard to comprehend, not at all. The writing was really compelling and easy to get lost in. But because of how complicated my thoughts and feelings have become, it's hard to come up with a decision.

I really enjoyed the story structure. I loved how the author broke the book up into the past and present with multiple chapters written from Max's perspective. It allowed me to understand and have a feel for where he was coming from because without that, I would have felt for Belle's story more and disregard him as a character. I loved the progress and the efforts that these characters made to rebuild their lost marriage.

On the other hand, while the writing and storyline captured my attention from start to finish, I wasn't particularly comfortable with some of the events that took place. Particularly the events that took place during their absence from each other. Just because someone is going through a rough time, it doesn't exempt them from their actions.

With that said, I enjoyed it a lot because of the feelings it brought out within me. Not a perfect story, but no book ever is. I recommend it to readers who are into second chances romance or those who love a gripping and emotional romance.
