Flagger by Laramie Briscoe ~ FMR REVIEW

TITLE: Flagger (Red Bird Trail Trilogy, #1)
AUTHOR: Laramie Briscoe
RELEASE DATE: June 13, 2015

Fast Cars

Quarter-miles

Broken homes

Vulnerable hearts

Cash Montgomery likes fast cars, fast women, and living his life only as far as he can see with his own two eyes. There are very few people in his life who he answers to. One of them being his little brother Remington (Remy).

When Cash and Remy are forced to make a life-changing decision they no longer have a place to live, no idea where their next meal is going to come from, or any prospects as to how they will make it. They need help.

That help comes in the form of the Heaven Hill MC and Harper Stillwell.

Harper Stillwell comes with her own set of problems, but when she and Cash Montgomery meet, sparks fly.

None of them know what they’re doing, where they will end up, or how they’ll get there. The only thing they know is that the race for their lives is only beginning—the flag is waving—and they have to hang on for the ride.

Hot Damn Laramie! What are you doing to me? You know a book is good and a book boyfriend is so delicious he blows your favorite book boyfriend by that author right our of the water. Yep. You heard me right. Move over Reaper and make room for Cash!

I don't want to go into details about the story as you need to experience it for yourself but I will tell you it is an amazing story! Harper and Cash lean on each other in a way that is out of necessity and it is so raw and real, the fruition of their relationship. The characters are all so loveable and you just want to reach into the pages of your kindle and hug them....hard! The sexy times are so damn hot! You will fall in love with Cash from the first page and Harper will capture your heart as well. The writing is this book is captivating and the plot line interesting. I would say this is Laramie's best book to date and I have read them all! I cannot wait until the next book!

5 Stars

OMG!! LARAMIE BEST WORK YET!!! I love Laramie work. I

never thought that she could TOP tyler from the Heaven Hill series

as far as Her leading men but Cash has stolen that top spot for me. I

love how you get this image built up in your head of what Cash

should be but he blows that image out of the water by being this

guy that is struggling to raise his little brother that has health

problems while dealing with a mother that doesn't seem to want to

help herself. this book will have you begging her for the next one

which luckily for us we won't have to wait long. I can't even tell

you how much this book has quickly became one of my top

favorites of 2015!!!

When life gives you lemons, well you just have to learn to suck it up & make the best of it! This is what Cash Montgomery has learnt in his life.
Harper has also learnt that same lesson.
When those you trust let you down time & time again, you have no one to lean on but yourself… Oh and of course the local Heaven Hill MC!!
Although this book isn’t about Heaven Hill they do make several appearances as Cash works in their mechanic shop. They admire him & want to see
him make a life for himself.

As with all of Laramie Briscoe’s books, she draws you in right from the start & doesn’t hold back with her writing to keep you invested in the story
right until the end.
There is not a lot of angst in this book in relation to Cash & Harpers relationship together, but there is a lot of upset outside of that with their respective
families.
I think for those that have read any of Laramie Briscoe’s other books you will notice the difference with this one right away (Not in a bad way!).
Cash & Harper are a lot younger than any of her other characters and are just starting out in life. They have no established careers or paths in life which
is what makes their story so intriguing. The fact that she has included so adult guidance for them in form of the Heaven Hill MC boys adds another layer if interest.
How far will the Club go to help a kid that although they respect, is not actually part of their club?

I think this is a great story that tugs at your heartstrings and will have you shaking your head and wondering what both Cash & Harpers respective families were
thinking when they made the decisions they did & said the things they said.. And we all know once you say it you can’t take it back.
This is a cliff hanger  which I personally don’t mind & I will be hanging out for book 2 to see where Cash & Harper go after the bombshell they have dropped on
them at the end.

Awesome job Laramie Briscoe, you have written another 5 star worthy book!!

This story portrays the beginnings of what seems to be young sweet love between two people.  The author did well to develop her characters in the story and to show how important each character is in the story.  I liked how Cash wanted to take care of Remy despite all the hardship involved with in taking care of someone else.
