Loved it! This book was a great quick read. It went straight from meeting each other to planning a future. It focused on Reagan and Declan, not much of the other characters that were in Wicked Weekend in this story.
Reagan and her friends Natalie and Andrea and in Vegas for a girls weekend. They get invited to a party being hosted by none other than Declan Carter, hot actor. Reagan has always been drawn to Declan. They meet at the party and sparks fly. They end up spending the weekend together, Declan tells Reagan that he would like to pursue things after he stops filming his next movie.
Five weeks go by and Reagan has not heard a peep from Declan. Why would he be interested in an ER nurse like her anyway? Just as she has decided to forget about him, Declan shows up at her work and he is ready to try to pursue their relationship. Can she forgive him for not staying in contact with her? Does she even want to purse this?
I am patiently waiting for the next book! I would love to see where the Vegas weekend took Natalie and Andrea!

Declan Carter is attending yet another party with way to many fake people in attendance. A party thrown for his benefit. To bad he has no interest in it. But for his friends who were throwing it for him, he'd pretend to have a good time.
Weird how attending a party with a fully operational bar in Las Vegas isn't as hard as one would think on a person who spent time in rehab.
This is Declan's last chance at a come back. Not only his acting career, but his life too. He wants to do it right this time. No more drinking, drugs, or throw away women.
Declan is grateful for the new movie he landed, he knows this roll was made just for him and he is ready to get back to work and show the world just what he can do in front of the camera.
Then Declan meets, her. An Angel in a red dress.
Reagan has no idea what she was thinking letting herself get talked into attending a party full of well to do, beautiful people. So not a place she belonged.
And the dress she was wearing. Red lace that landed above her knees...Way out of her comfort zone. But she'd felt so pretty as the red lace had settled on her body. A feeling she wasn't familiar with in her real life as an ER nurse who works too many hours on the graveyard shift.
Then a dream came true. In the form of one Declan Carter. He appeared in front of her, shook her hand and stared at her as if she were someone he could be interested in. Staring at her like he wanted her. Wow.

We all have that fantasy of capturing the eye of our celebrity crush and one night Regan and her best girlfriends, Andrea and Natalie took a chance on a stranger; James, who claims to be a personal assistant to someone well known to attend an exclusive private party. An event hosted by actor Declan Carter, a man that Regan has been fangirling and crushing over for some time. *SWOON*!
Declan is cleaning up his reputation from all his mishaps of his dark days and his looking for someone sweet and someone real. At first glance Regan and Declan sparks each other’s interests and they get acquainted with one another ALL. WEEKEND. LONG. *Fans self here*.
A once in a lifetime unexpected chance of being with your favorite actor for a weekend….OMG YES! But is a weekend enough? It has to be right? This was a quick change in genre from emotional feels that I have been reading that that was light and full of wild fun! A hot and steamy 4 stars read that will have you wishing you were in Regan shoes!

“Reagan,” Declan called, drawing her attention. She turned to her right to find him sitting on an overstuffed loveseat made out of wicker, the deep red cushions plump and comfortable-looking. He waved her over and she headed toward him, her steps careful, her knees wobbling when she saw the heart-stopping smile on his face as she approached.
“I could watch you do that all night,” he murmured as he leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees so he could dangle in his arms between his legs, his hands clasped together.
“Watch me do what?” she asked, perplexed. She stopped by a glass-topped table where
the two waters Declan ordered sat. But she wasn’t thirsty. She could hardly move, too entranced by the way he stared up at her.
“Walk. You look...incredible in that dress,” he said, letting his gaze skim the entire length of her. “Join me.”
The loveseat wasn’t very big and he was nearly sitting in the middle, so she settled down next to him, their thighs pressed together, her bare leg rubbing against the slightly coarse material of his jeans. She smiled at him as he sat up straight, his shoulder brushing against hers, and she looked away, exhaling discreetly for fear he might notice.
He flat out overwhelmed her. She could smell him, spicy and warm with a hint of soap. His body was hot—she could feel the heat radiating off of him and pulsating through her.
Or maybe that was just her, so crazily aroused for this man she didn’t really even know that she reacted like a woman with out of control hormones. He definitely sent everything within her zinging with just a look, just by sitting next to her.
“It’s a beautiful view,” she said when she couldn’t seem to take him staring at her anymore. She turned to look out at the city lights once more, the breeze blowing through her hair, lifting it from her shoulders and her warm neck.
“I agree,” he said, his voice closer than she realized, and she glanced over her shoulder, his face directly in hers, his gaze locked on her. “Gorgeous.”
She had the distinct feeling he wasn’t talking about the view of Las Vegas. More like he was talking about...her?

This was a great book for introductions to the characters in Reckless Nights. It was a quick read, but gave some in depth looks at Natalie, Andrea, Reagan, and Declan. Love the writing style of Karen Erickson.
It starts with the girls starting their "girls weekend" in Vegas. Their luggage is lost and tey have to go shopping to get something to wear out that night. That is where they meet James, the fun, witty, gay personal assistant. James helps them with their shopping and invites them to a party being held by his mysterious boss.

Reagan, Andrea, and Natalie want to spend three days just being girls. That means soaking up the sun, drinks by the pool and maybe getting a little wild and partying some. Nothing on the agenda but girl-time.
Lost luggage leads to a shopping trip that none of them can really afford. But hey, a girl can't go partying in jeans and t-shirts.
While shopping at a trendy over priced store the three girls meet James.
James is sweet, funny, genuine and possibly gay. Nothing about the well dressed, man triggers any alarms with the girls and besides James has an eye for fashion. Together the three women wonder if James is crazy or if he really is who he says he is.
Because if what James says is true, he is the way to a once in a lifetime experience.

This was a super quick read that takes a look at the events prior to attending the exclusive private party from a complete stranger. James indicates that he is a personal assistant to someone well known and randomly approaches hard working nurses: Regan, Andrea, and Natalie.
From a girlfriends' weekend trip that started off on a sour note to risk believing the stranger that big name celebrities will be at the venue and to dress for the occasion. Determining to take the safe route on their getaway or to follow said stranger on who he is and what he is doing. Decisions. Decisions.
Reading this book made me think what I would do if I was in their shoes. Building up to the story is a 3.5 stars read on what is yet to come for a girlfriends' weekend trip to Las Vegas.
