The synopsis of this book hooked me with out even reading it. It’s about a girl who committed a crime and is now on the run. That alone doesn’t bring you in, but when the sexy tattooed bounty hunter is after her. That got me. They travel the country so he can bring her back to the people she is running from.

After reading that I knew I wanted to read this book. When I watch a new tv show I always tell myself to give it three episodes. 9 time out of 10 I normally end up sticking with the show. Thats what I did with this book, I gave it three chapters. Honestly the first two chapters I did not like and I thought I was going to hate it. I’m so happy that I read that 3rd chapter, because I’m so in love with these two. Kat completely sucks you in with her sarcastic humor, and her non stop knowledge of the eighties. I couldn’t help but continue to laugh every time that Kat would talk. For a girl that has gone through as much as she has, she sure knows how to bring a smile to everyones faces. When she meets her sexy bounty hunter her attitude towards him is perfect. She doesn’t take his shit and pushes his buttons in ways no one has. He’s a mystery to her and even the reader, I mean youdon’t even know his name. Her constant guessing on what it is was hilarious.

This is a beautifully written story about two people with damaged past that learn to depend on each other for healing. It takes time and a lot of patiences, but you feel like you’re going through it with them. It’s about how life is so short, and that it can be quickly taken away from you. That we all need to learn to take advantage of this precious gift of life we have been given. I feel like these two are going to be a part of me forever.

Season Vining is defiantly an author i’m going to be watching for in the future.
