AUTHOR: TINA REBER

SYNOPSIS:
We all have skeletons in our closets.

Doctor Erin Novak was only sixteen when she was accused of a crime she didn't commit. Since that moment, she has made it her life goal to pursue emergency medicine, pouring her heart and soul into assuring another innocent life isn’t lost to the hands of the wicked.

We all have secrets we've never shared.

Detective Adam Trent has lost control of everything, starting with losing his partner to a punk with a gun and then everything else to the crushing guilt. Now a member of the elite Auto Theft Task Force in Philadelphia, it's his job to be one step ahead of the criminals stealing expensive cars in the city. Too bad the television cameras keep getting in the way of his investigation.

We all have pasts that we can never escape.

A stolen car, a tragic chase, and a traffic stop crosses the fates of these two, tying them together in ways that are unimaginable. As their love and trust grows, so do the enemies that threaten their survival, testing the strength of their commitment. Can true love endure half-truths, past pains, and secrets never meant to be shared?

Some things are just out of our control.

Love Unscripted spin-off featuring Kyle Trent's older brother, Adam.

Such a great book. It has everything. Action, mystery, love, and passion. Great story line.

The way Adam and Erin's story unfolds is amazing. Adam is a hot, slightly dominant, alpha male who after being hurt before still decides to go after what he wants. What he wants is Erin.

Erin has had a lot of pain in her past. That pain has made her who she is. Can she let go and let love in? Is Adam the man to help her?

One of my new faves! Can't wait for Jason's story!

Erin Novak is an ER doctor. She is mouthy and knows how to hold her own. She's also very single. Having experienced heartbreak once, she's not looking to go through that again.

Adam Trent is a sexy detective. Unfortunately, he also has pesky cameras following him around and getting in the way. He's got a job to do on the Auto Theft Task Force, which is exactly how Erin ended up in his handcuffs one night. If anyone was going to put her in handcuffs at least it was someone as sexy as detective Trent. Too bad her career is in jeopardy because of it. Everything she's worked for could be on the line.

These two together are hot. The chemistry between them can hear up any room. Everyone can feel it. If only they could grow and bond without all of their enemies trying to tear them down. They both also have guilt that threatens to consume them on a daily basis. But when they're together it doesn't seem so bad. They seem to be able to help each other in repairing the emotional holes they have. One by one. Slowly they start to trust each other. With trust comes the easiness of just being together, which for us means more fun, flirtatious, sexy times.
"Looks to me like ten eighty-eight means I'm in trouble."
"Oh, you're in trouble all right. I'm going to ten eighty-eight you until you scream."

A story of growth, of moving on, giving someone all of your trust and your heart knowing that you could be destroyed in the blink of an eye.

I loved the flirtatious banter between them. Adam knew how to dish it out and Erin gave it back just as well. They kept each other guessing. This easily became one of my favorite books. They both seemed to ground each other and make living that much easier. When you find that person that can make everything better with just a simple look, that's when you know they're someone to hang on to. But not everything was easy. They still had to work for their relationship.

This is a book that will hook you from the very beginning. You won't be left disappointed at the end, but you'll be sad is over. You'll love everything about Adam and Erin. I knew I did. I can't wait to get more of the Trent brother's stories.

This was my first book by Tina Reber and WOW was it a good one!! I really enjoyed “Jacked”. This book was an easy read and completely thought out. It had just enough angst to keep my hungry for more and just enough romance to bring on the heat.

The dynamic between the cute shy doctor and the hot built cop was amazing. There was heat from the first frozen moment they met and it didn’t quit throughout the book. I enjoyed the development of character and the progression of the story line. I was blown away by the plot twists I didn’t see coming and felt that the build up was perfect.  “I’m here, baby. I’m here. You’re safe”… I just swoonly love the way the relationship grows and the protective qualities come out. FANTASTIC!

I 100% recommend his book for sure! This was an easy amazing read that I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish. This was a complete 4 star read and without a doubt delivered everything I thought it could. I can’t wait to read more of Reber’s work and am SERIOUSLY looking forward to what is to come next in this series!!!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
I had my first library card at the age of four and below is the picture to prove it. My mom was a part-time librarian at the Coplay Library for 29 years, where I spent a good portion of my time growing up attending “story hour” every day after school.
I always chose the hot pink colored carpet to sit on to listen to the amazing stories that were read to us and eventually begged my parents to install the same hot pink carpeting in my bedroom. That’s when I learned that “wall to wall” carpeting DIDN’T mean that my walls would be covered in hot pink carpeting too. It was a sad day.
No, my mother is not in the picture, but some of my longtime friends and neighbors are. You can hate me for posting this picture of us later. I think it’s cute.
My education and background is in Business Analysis, Corporate Training, Banking, Accounting, and IT Design – but that was just to pay the bills. Creative, artsy stuff – from jewelry design to painting and writing – have always been my passion. Back in the day, I was also a bartender, a short-order cook, waitress, and horse trail guide, so I can make a mean mixed drink while making sandwiches and saddling horses.
I live a quiet, drama-free life in Pennsylvania with my husband, our ten year-old son who is growing like a weed, a Keeshond and two Mini Schnauzers, and an Eclectus Parrot named Percy.
