have recently become addicted to serials, and it’s serials like this one that keep me reading them! All of the suspense, topped with some SERIOUSLY hot bondage, and a possible relationship on the horizon? It makes for a very intriguing story!
This is a fast-paced story that makes you keep turning page after page. Jax’s world is a little more tech-savvy than our own…and he’s about to break out of prison using loads of tech! And when he gets out? Well, let’s just say Mia better watch out.
Mia is about as innocent as they come. But she’s about to lose her naiveté. She works past her shyness to make some bold and courageous moves…especially for someone who has NO idea what is really going on! And of course, neither does the reader, in a fantastic way.
There is a MAJOR cliffie at the end of this one, but that is the nature of the serial. ;) I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one!

For starters, this will be a rather short review as it is quite a short book. I will not be going into too much depth to avoid spoilers. But holy crap, this book was insane. The book is written from two perspectives, Jax and Mia. We're introduced to both characters at the start and the writers immediately dives you into their lives. We get a little bit of their backstory in the beginning but it is certain that there’s still a lot that we’ve yet to learn.
The writing was decent. I didn’t connect to the story or characters straight of the bat. I think what really kept me going was the plot. You don’t really get much from the synopsis, but there’s definitely quite a bit of twists and turns happening within the story. Until the end, I still have no idea what is in store for these characters.
The Vigilante’s Lover was a good start to the series. There were certain parts in the book that didn’t made any sense to me. Although my biggest complain would have to be the length of the story. It’s more of a bummer rather than complaint, to be honest. I’m really curious and interested to know what happens in the later part. I definitely have to read the sequel. Lucky for us, it will be released in late January.
