Review by: Amy C
"I'm honored you're
sharing this with me. Thank you." "That's where you're wrong. I'm the
one who's honored to have you here in my arms like this." THIS IS
SWEETNESS OVERLOAD! These two are so made for each other, yet neither one is
sure, yet Kaylee writes them like they've know each other all their
lives....uuggg. I love when authors know what they are doing with character yet
write them discovering themselves like this isn't their first rodeo. This book
had all the elements of southern charm and so much romance it was like sweet
tea on a summer afternoon. Satisfying, delicious and completely body quenching.
Whitney needs to get away.
Returning to the only family she has left, in small town America, is just
what may set her right and get her back on track. She's got an amazing eye with
a camera and lands up on the door step of Mills Photography. One shutter click
away from McKinley Mills- Chamberlin is her brother, Aaron....who's as
hot as hell and can fill out a pair of worn out jeans reeaaaalll well. With
the down home pace set at slow speed, Whitney and Aaron start to see that
sometimes slow and steady can win the race!
This book was a complete
winner for me. I loved McKinley & Evan in Southern Pleasure and I was so
happy to see Aaron get his own story here in Southern Desire. This book
showcased Aaron Mills and his absolute devotion to friend and family. He keeps
his heart closed off until he feels like his his missing other half. Watching
him convince Whitney that she may be the one was swoony and just romantic as
ever! I loved the flow and attention to detail this book had and couldn't put
it down. Fantastic read and very well done.
