This book takes you on a rollercoaster ride of suspense, drama, more suspense!
I've read several book from this author and I think this one kept me on the edge of my seat the most.
I really enjoyed the characters, especially Kass. She was one tough chick! For everything she went through and she was still able to keep moving was amazing. She did get herself into a few problems but was able to over come those. Then there is Logan, he was hot and manly...doing the whole protection thing. He was most definitely swoonworthy.
This story revolves around a second chance romance, which I love, but I wish the author would have elaborated a little more on the second chance. A part of me felt a little disconnect with the main characters. Maybe if we had a little more about their pasts, I would have felt it more. Otherwise, I thought the story was really well written. It was a great storyline. It was something really different in comparison to other books I've read. If you are looking for an edge of your seat suspense book with a side of romance, this is a good book for you!

So if you haven’t read the 1st two books in this series, I would recommend that you do read them before this one. This can be read as a standalone but will be much more enjoyable if you see how the main characters are all bound together.
This story is about Logan & Kass. They were together many years ago, but life took them in separate directions. Now they have reconnected & rediscovered their love for each other.
They are both bound by loyalties to their employers as such & their love is put to the test in ways you couldn’t begin to imagine.
I absolutely enjoyed this book but the 1st half was very slow paced & had me wondering if it was going to pick up pace and move along. This is why I have rated it 4 stars rather than 5.
In saying that, once I hit the halfway mark, the momentum picked up & the story raced towards the finish line in a way that had me hanging on to the edge of my seat holding my breath anticipating what was going to happen next! It was full of action and excitement!
Although the 1st half was a bit slow, the plot of the story was clear and the direction the characters were going was easy to follow. The characters of Logan and Kass are very likeable & easy to relate to. They love they have for each other surpasses any other relationship they have had while being apart & once it is reignited, it simmers along until it explodes!!
Well worth spending your $$$ and one clicking!!
