time. Life can’t get much better than this.
Until her life turns into an absolute
nightmare. The media is abuzz with rumors that she and her boss Drew Callahan
are having a torrid affair. Everyone knows the truth—except the public. So Drew’s
wife Fable comes up with the perfect idea.
She creates a fake relationship between
Sydney and one of the rookie players on Drew’s team. Wade Knox is forever

Review by: Tatia
Sydney and Wade. Both are from completely different backgrounds yet find they have a lot in common. What starts out at a fake relationship soon has the ability to turn into more. They both just have to get past the notion that they're only doing it all for show.
I have loved every book in this series. The premise for them all, while similar, all plays out differently and tells their own unique story. That's what is so great about it.
Sydney has to get a job. Well, if she wants to eat and have a roof over her head she does. After being caught in a lie by her parents, they've cut her off. She now has to find her own way which is not something she's ever done. Thankfully, with the help of her brother, she lands a nanny job for one of football's hottest players. She doesn't count on there constantly being hot players around the house, or what might happen if she's seen leaving a restaurant with her employer. One simple task blew up into a scandal. Now she was given the idea to take 2 weeks and act as girlfriend to up and coming player, Wade. What could possibly go wrong?
This book was great. There are so many serious books I can take in a row. Safe Bet came at the perfect time. I was able to read it without tending up and dreading what was going to happen next. It was an easy read that kept me entertained like all the others in the series.
