Jackson and Sylvia are back in the second installment of J. Kenner's Stark International Trilogy, On MyKnees.
On My Knees stats up right where Say My Name leaves off and I was so happy to dive right back into that little world.
There are so many secrets and when past and present collide can Jackson and Sylvia survive their pasts to make the through the present and to a future?
This book was fast paced and had me on the edge of my seat waiting for things to be answered and revealed only to be left with more questions at times.
I seriously LOVE Jackson and Sylvia and after this book I loved them even more. Their chemistry is insane. They are a couple I find myself rooting for no matter how much Jackson pisses me off at times.
In pure Kenner fashion the sexy times in this book are just scorching. Definitely a cold shower after reading kind of book.
The writing as usual was fabulous and made it very hard to put this book down. The plethora of emotions this book invoked in me was truly amazing. If I could change one thing about this book it is that I would have liked both point of views in first person. Having Jackson's POV in third person while Sylvia's was in first person did interfere with the flow of the story a little bit.
All in all this is a great trilogy and one that I would recommend. This book ends on a doozy of a cliffhanger and I am DYING for the conclusion of this trilogy.
I give it 4.5 Jackson Steele can take me on his boat any day stars.

“What I want is you. This project. This moment. And thank God I’ve got everything I want right here in front of me.” Can you say STEAMY?! Wow!! Jackson Steele is one hot sweet talking architect who knows exactly what he wants and that comes in a pretty package names Sylvia Brooks. Together these two light up the book with their sexy as ever banter and lusty eyes for each other that neither can deny. This is the second book in the series and it does everything to accompany the first. Good characters, a HOT as ever relationship building and a dash of Damian Stark…that’s a recipe for AWESOME!
Jackson Steele and his hard edge on life are almost too much to take. So hold on tight because this book delivers much more of the broody irresistible male character that J Keener is known for. He is determined and hard around the edges and that is exactly what Sylvia Brooks needs. She craves control and along the way decides she loves the kind of control Jackson offers and takes from her. These two are perfectly matched and offer the book a sinful look into their growing relationship. It’s hot, steamy and had me lusting for more with every page turn!!
I am a fan of J. Keener’s work completely! When the Stark trilogy came out I devoured each and every one! So seeing the Stark International trilogy here now was a welcome surprise!! I liked the way the characters were developed and how the story line flowed. Bringing in characters from past books was a fantastic way to keep the stories intertwined and offer new life to Stark International. Whereas I love this series, I felt the writing in this book had me puzzled. I had a hard time with the first person/ 3rd person transition. I felt it was hard for me to follow in the beginning, but as the book progressed it became a tad easier. This didn’t deflect from the characters or the book itself. I LOVE me some Stark men and now I can add Steele to the love fest!!
I would recommend this whole series because it was just darn fantastic. Tough, determined and broody as hell leading men are amazing to read and J. Kenner has a unique knack for writing those men well!! The new series spin off, Stark International, was a fantastic read. Absolute recommend all the way!
