ABOUT Him:
They don’t play for the same team.
Or do they?
Jamie Canning has never been able
to figure out how he lost his closest friend. Four years ago, his tattooed,
wise-cracking, rule-breaking roommate cut him off without an explanation. So
what if things got a little weird on the last night of hockey camp the summer
they were eighteen? It was just a little drunken foolishness. Nobody died.
Ryan Wesley’s biggest regret is coaxing
his very straight friend into a bet that pushed the boundaries of their
relationship. Now, with their college teams set to face off at the national
championship, he’ll finally get a chance to apologize. But all it takes is one
look at his longtime crush, and the ache is stronger than ever.
Jamie has waited a long time for
answers, but walks away with only more questions—can one night of sex ruin a
friendship? If not, how about six more weeks of it? When Wesley turns up to
coach alongside Jamie for one more hot summer at camp, Jamie has a few things
to discover about his old friend...and a big one to learn about himself.
Warning: contains sexual
situations, skinnydipping, shenanigans in an SUV and proof that coming out to
your family on social media is a dicey proposition.

I absolutely LOVED this story and could not put it down!!! It was funny, sexy, and sweet!!!
Wes and Jamie were childhood best friends, until one night changed everything. After four years of not speaking, they are reunited from the one thing that brought them together...hockey. Truths are told, secrets are revealed, all leading to one epic love story.
I could not tell that two authors wrote this story. It was put together so flawlessly and so well written. There are several flashback scenes, but they were so well written that I didn't get lost of what was happening. I needed those flashback scenes to help bring the story full circle.
I instantly fell in love with the characters. I love reading about their struggles within themselves and battling those who don't accept the gay community. And reading the character conquer those struggles was rewarding. It was more than just a love story, it touched on topics our society still faces today and I like seeing that.
I HIGHLY recommend this book and I really hope these two authors collaborate on another book in the future because they did a fabulous job!!!

Him was my first venture into the M/M
genre and I was a little worried how I would feel about not having a
female lead to connect with. Turns out I was worried about nothing, Him
blew me away. This story was impeccably written. It was
suspenseful, romantic, humorous, beautiful, challenging, and brought out all
the emotions.
The cover is what originally grabbed
my attention. Pair that with two authors I know can deliver a story full
of romance and humor I knew I had to read this book. It also didn't hurt
that it's about two sexy as hell hockey players.
Wes and Jamie were both beautifully
written. With the story alternating between their pov's you get to see
how each of them feels and reacts to the challenges they faced as they
navigated their feelings for each other. Both characters were easy to
connect with and even easier to love. I felt more of a connection to them
than a lot of female characters I've read recently.
I loved how they both experienced
acceptance and ignorance as their relationship became known and how the people
around them reacted. There were a lot of secondary characters in this
book. Some only played a small role while others had a major impact on
Wes and Jamie. But each one added to the story without overshadowing
them.
I loved everything about this book
and can't wait to see what these authors bring us in the future.

Holy Hot Hockey Players! I LOVED this
book! The characters pulled me in and kept me hooked. I loved the difference in
their backgrounds. All the smack talk between Jamie and his family kept me
laughing. There are humorous pranks between Jamie and Ryan too. The humor
balances out the drama and angst of the story. There are so many differences in
the way that Jamie and Ryan were raised. It makes their relationship that much
sweeter. Ryan has not had the best upbringing and his parents made me cringe. I
wanted to cry for the little boy inside him begging for his parents
to love him. Jamie on the other hand, had a wonderful childhood and his
family has always been there for him.
Ryan and Jamie’s relationship was
truly wonderful to watch unfold. The author did an amazing job with these two.
They are truly great men. Ryan could have let his parents
make him into an uncaring person, but he rises above that. It was
beautiful to see these two discovering themselves and each other.

If you ever want to experience a m/m read this is the book to one~click. I could not put this book down...Hook, Line and Sinker! Hands down the best M/M book I have read.
Wes and Jamie's story is about two best friends who become so much more. We learn why Wes lost contact with Jamie after all these years, now reunited and lots to catch up on.
The supporting characters add to the brilliance of the story.
Take the journey with the boys, you will not be disappointed, both Authors come together to give us one epic story with lots of feels, laughter and sexy times.
