Grace is a bounty hunter never taken seriously because she is a woman. Raide wanted for suspicion for murder skips his trial and jumps bail. After being given smaller cases bringing in Raide Knox is the break she needs to finally be taken serious in her career. Grace tries everything to get Knox in a vulnerable enough spot to bring him in. She tries following him, she tried seducing him but then she does the one thing that goes against everything she had been taught.....she falls in love with him risking everything including him.
Gah this book! Seriously forget Raide I just dibs Bella Jewel herself! She is a genius and the men she rights are some of the best alphas out there in the book world.
Grace is one bad ass chick! I loved how strong she was and how she didn't conform to what other people thought she should be. She owned who she is flaws, mistakes and all.
Raide was sexy as hell. The perfect alpha big broody and arrogant. He had that tough exterior but the inside was just amazing. He was fierce, protective and oh so broken.
The chemistry between Raide and Grace was sizzling. It was really fun to read as Grace gave as good as she got. The sexy times were so hot and steamy I highly suggest sitting in front of a fan or cranking the air conditioning while reading.
This book had everything drama, angst, suspense and a swoon worthy love story. I was captivated by page 1. The only thing I didn't like was that the ending felt a little rushed. With Hard to Fight Bella Jewel definitely has another hit on her hands.

RAIDE!!!!! I was so excited to read this
book. Raide has made a few cameo appearances in Flawed Heart and Flawed Love so
I knew a little about him and made a few guesses on who I thought his character
would turn out to be. I was not disappointed. He is a very strong character. He
has had a rough year. He has a plan for vengeance though and he plans to follow
through with it.
Grace is a great character. She is
trying to prove herself in a predominately make field of work. When she finally
gets her chance, her case ends up being Raide. Her efforts to get to know him
are hilarious. You can tell she is not used to hooking up with random
people.
Sparks fly when these two are around
each other. Raide’s dirty talk is off the charts. There are a few twists in the
story. It flows seamlessly. I love the detail in the story. I liked the
background of each character. A brilliant start to what I know will be a great
series!

This is very different from Bella Jewel’s other books. Although it is tied in to the Jokers Wrath MC in a 6 degrees of separation kind of way it is actually
Not MC related at all.
This is story of two people, Grace & Raide who have come together through I guess what you could call unusual circumstances. They both have their own agenda’s
& are deceiving each other in two completely different ways. When they each find out things go south real quick!
Raide is the pure Alpha with a boat load of secrets & Grace is a strong woman who can hold her own both physically & intellectually, she certainly gives not just Raide, but everyone
else she comes into contact with a run for their money, she takes no crap from anyone & is a straight shooter through & through.
When Grace & Raide are together the sparks fly & the banter between the two flips from funny to hot quite fast.
This is an action packed book filled with lots of lust, steam, humour, anticipation & drama. All the perfect ingredients a book needs to keep you on the edge of your seat,
holding your breath and reading through the night which is exactly what I did. I started reading this book after I put my kids to bed & I was up
reading until I finished the very last word. I just could not bear to put it down even to get some sleep!
I have said it before & I will say it again, Bella Jewel has a talent for reeling you in from the very 1st work & keeping you hooked until the very end. When you read
A Bella Jewel book you get the privilege of feeling everything her characters are feeling and more. You don’t need to try & read between the lines because
she leaves nothing out and there are no misunderstandings about what is going on with the characters or the storyline.
If you want an action packed, fast paced story that flows fantastically the I would highly recommend you check this out!

Thrilling, gritty, romantic, suspenseful, and action packed. Bella Jewel nailed it with this one. The title and eye catching cover drew me in. The writing and explosive storyline hooked me. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down.
Gracie and Raide were expertly written with so much chemistry and sexual tension I could feel it sucking the air from the room. They were both this precarious mixture of bad ass and vulnerable that made you cheer and ache for them. They were also surrounded by a group of loyal characters who supported, aggravated, and loved them.
Can't wait for the next book in this series and hopefully more from Raide and Gracie.
