As if my love for all things Tillie Cole couldn't get any strong, she goes ahead and SLAMS this amazingness at me. This book...gaaahhh was just soul searching and gut wrenching and admiring all wrapped up into a spectacular array of "moonbeam hearts and sunshine smiles". I swear I have never ever cried so hard in my life!!! What this girl's writing can do to a person is unreal. The feels she can evoke will FLOOR YOU AS A READER.
This adventure between Rune and Poppy is the stuff that all relationships should be based on. There is a all encompassing amount of trust between these two from the age of 5. As they grow, they become two piece to a complete heart. They are completely open and honest at such a young age that I couldn't help but feeeeelllll them. I felt their strength. I felt their raw sense of EVERYTHING wrapped up in their world. Two best friends that developed into souls that could not be separated. Two hearts that beat only for each others's happiness. Claimed by fate, branded by forever. "Live hard, love harder. Chase dreams, seek adventures....capture moments."
"Kiss three hundred and fifty-seven. Against the wall of my house... When Rune took possession of my heart" ....BECAUSE THIS READER NEARLY DIED!!! I am not a crier, I am not a crier...yeah, that mantra lasted about two chapters and then I was on a one way train to snotville with a stop over in body wracking tears!!! HO.LEE .CRAP this adventure was brilliant. It was beautifully written, delicately delivered and so jaw droppingly soul aching. It was exactly the kind of book you didn't know you needed and possibly craved. It's the kind of story that lives in every part of your heart, making an appearance in the form of a lone tear or a series of quotes, recited out of nowhere. Because YES IT WAS THAT GOOD.
I enjoy Tillie's books like the next fan. I have loved my opportunities to meet and chat with her. Just when I think I know her, she does this. Delivers greatness.. Offers me a glimpse of her greatness, written in the simplest of forms...a love story. So sweet and pure that if you allow yourself, you will fall head over heals in love. Read this book for the adventure because I guarantee it won't let you down!!!
5+ stars BOOK FAVE!!

From beginning to end of 'A Thousand Boy Kisses' by Tillie Cole, I fell truly madly and deeply in love, both with this authors writing and the heart wrenching journey the characters are taken on. In my opinion, this is Tillie Cole's best writing to date and this outstanding YA romance novel needs to be felt by every reader in the world.
Poppy and Rune are a readers dream come true. From childhood friends to young lovers, together the characters advance, grow so beautifully and touch on emotions that made me hurt, laugh and love whole heartedly. The author had created a story and two beautiful characters that have stolen my heart and I don't even want it back! THEY CAN KEEP IT!
The life lessons the story brings, the struggles, the REALITY, the PAIN, but most of all the heart warming LOVE, the shining BEAUTY and the ENDLESS FEELS have been wrapped into something so breathtaking, that it makes any of the pain and hurt I experienced when reading SO WORTH IT.
I am in awe of this story, I am spitting mad that I will not get to experience it for the first time again and I have shed more tears than a newborn baby.
Written in a dual-POV, 'A Thousand Boy Kisses' is a powerful journey that will touch hearts forever.
I feel privileged to have experienced something so devastatingly beautiful, so raw, so emotional and I have no idea how I will bounce back from this masterpiece the very talented Tillie Cole has delivered.

The beauty of this book spoke to my soul. It pulled emotions out of me that a book hadn't reach in some time now. I went in blind with no real expectations of what to expect and received more than I could have dreamed.
Poppy is by far the most inspiring character I've ever read. Her zeal for life and adventure is inspiring. Her ability to see the beauty in even the smallest things brings a smile to my face. She was a unique shining light to all she met.
Rune was a myriad of emotions as most boys are. His fluctuating moods kept me guessing on how he would react in each situation. I loved and hated him at different points throughout the book.
The beauty of this book will stick with me for years to come. It has made a mark on my soul and imprint on my heart.
