***SPOILERS***

WOW!!! I love a hot, tatted man! And he is a single dad? Awesome!
I love the characters in this story. They are so well written. They are very passionate people who will do anything for each other, even if it means leaving. They know the pain of loss. They are connected on a very deep level.
Evan has been grieving his late wife Rae for 4 years. He lost her very suddenly, leaving him with a 3 year old, Lyon, to raise by himself. Rae's parents are a big help, but so is Rae's best friend, Lyon's "aunt" Charlie.
Evan and Charlie have known each other for years. Ever since he decided to fall for Rae. What Evan doesn't realize is that Charlie had a crush on him back then, and has made a point to never cross the line with him.
When Evan and Lyon move back to Evergreen Cove, something shifts in his relationship with Charlie, aka Ace. Evan decides to go after her and a chance to be happy again.
Charlie is not sure about pursuing a relationship with Evan. Sure she loves him and Lyon, and not just as friends. But she is worried about what Rae's parents will think of her taking her best friend's husband.
Evan is not happy with her reluctance and pursues her with a vengeance. She has to know that he and Lyon want her with them always.

Ok, so we have Evan, a widowed single father and Charlie, Evans dead wife’s best friend.
This story stars 4 years after Evans wife passed away. Evan & Charlie are extremely attracted to each other. Evan is ready to move on
and sees no reason why he & Charlie can’t act on their mutual attraction.
Charlie is riddled with guilt. She vowed to be there to support Evan and his son and feels like a terrible person for falling in love with
her deceased best friends husband.
But Charlie soon learns that the heart wants what the heart wants and she has no control over it.

This a story about a woman who is torn, she wants to do what she thinks is right, what she thinks everyone who is important to her would want her to
do. She struggles because she is so in love, not just with Evan, but also with his son. Evan has done everything in his power to show Charlie
that it is ok for them to be together. He has even enlisted the help of his in-laws to help put Charlies mind at rest.
Even he realises there is only so much he can do. He reverts back to the old saying “If you love something, set if free. If it was meant to be it will come back to you and if it
doesn’t then it was never meant to be.”
He sets her free.
Will she come back to him??
Well, you will need to read this book and find out!!!!

This is a good, quick easy read. Lots of emotion in this story so you may need a tissue handy!
