Going All The Way by Cynthia Cooke
Genre: Contemporary, Romance
Release Date: February 8th, 2016

After a failed marriage and quitting her high-pressure job, Carrie Steinhem is ready for uncomplicated fun. Love? Not what she’s looking for. She’d rather crash a wedding with her friends and find a hot hookup. The bride’s father is onto her, though. But just as her night out veers toward public embarrassment, a sizzling stranger sweeps in and claims Carrie as his date.

Potential hookup? Check. If she doesn’t get cold feet first.

Ryan Burton is on the fast track to a promotion…assuming he can avoid distractions and nail this new account. Except the woman he rescued at a friend’s wedding ends up not only being his new neighbor—she’s his client’s ex-wife. And his client has every intention of winning her back.

Carrie and Ryan would love to leave complicated alone, but when two people share a duplex and irresistible chemistry, temptation—and love—is right around the corner…

Going All the Way is a cute, fun and easy read.  The story begins with Carrie and her friends at a wedding but the exciting part is they are wedding crashers and of course she has a crazy sweep you off your feet moment with a hot guy.  There's more that happens but I dont want to leak any spoilers.  Just know that Ryan & Carrie have a instant connection and sparks fly.  They both have relationship issues and have things they need to deal with in their personal lives but in the end will they live happily ever after or even get a chance at real LOVE?

I also enjoyed Riley! He is what everyone needs in their lives.  Who doesn't love a mans best friend? He helps the couple connect and its cute how Cooke can make a pet such an important part of the story but she does.

All in all, if you want a cute read with a ups and downs & a cute pet with a spunky personality get to it and grab Going All The Way!  You wont be disappointed you did!  Have fun getting lost in Ryan & Carrie's story cause I know I did.

I had pro and cons of this story. Notice how my cons was plural. The pro, it was a write easy romantic read. My biggest con was the characters were the exact opposite from what they intended to be. Carrie got divorced and realized she needed a fresh start. I expected her to be this take no bulls*it, it's all about me heroine but in reality she was a pushover and complete people pleaser. Then there was Ryan who I really wanted to be a knight on a white horse kind of guy. And what did I get? He was the "all about me" character. Then there's how they met!  I really wanted to love this book. I really really did. It just missed the mark. I liked it but not loved it.
