Blurb

Promises.
We all make them. Sometimes we break them. But what happens when the promise you break haunts your dreams, when that moment of betrayal echoes within every last beat of your heart?

Love.
Love is passionate, painful, and all consuming in the most brutal yet beautiful way. How many people have you said 'I love you' to? Five, ten, maybe no one? I've said that word to two men, but only one where I felt it.

Tragic.
This word sums up my relationship with Nicolas: devastating, painful, depressing.
A first love that should have lasted a lifetime, but I ruined with a stupid decision. Shakespeare would refer to Nicolas as my star crossed lover, and I should know that stories such as ours always end in tragedy, but even with that, I can't not love him, even if I'm married to someone else.

Review by: Tatia

I honestly have no idea where to find the words for this review. I had it all planned out, how I was going to start this, how I would accurately describe my feelings throughout it, and even how I would recount how the ending had me in a big ball of mush. Only, it didn't end when I expected it too. Instead, it went on to absolutely destroy and gut me emotionally. It recounted an event that, even though the date may be different for the sake of the book, I remember all too well. It was an event, that as Peyton was experiencing it, I remember going through the same motions of trying to protect my family, worrying about other family, watching it all unfold on t.v. until the power went out and we had to take cover. That scene in this book DESTROYED me.
The title of this book couldn't be any more perfect. It's tragic, it's beautiful, it's heartbreaking, it's everything. Peyton and Nic are perfect for each other. They had a love so strong that nothing could sever that bond. At least, that's what everyone thought, including them. A Love So Tragic is going to take you on a ride that will have you tied in knots with the highs and lows. I didn't expect the story that we get. It's so much more than the standard love story/tragedy that I anticipate. It's the first book that I've read of Stevie JCole's solo work. Now, I have to read them all and find out what I've been missing all this time.
