They say a human being needs few things to exist.

A purpose,

Hope for the future,

But most of all...

Love.

Juliette Portland had all of those things. Her purpose was simple: Seduce. Deceive. Kill. Avenge. Once Dornan Ross and his sons were dead, her future was supposed to be clear. Her life was finally going to begin. And love... Against all the odds, she had the love of a boy she never thought she'd see again.

Everything should have gone according to plan. Everything should have been easy once Dornan was dead and buried.

Of course, life has a way of fucking with even the most meticulous of plans, and calling in owed debts can have the most severe consequences. Thanks to Juliette's diabolical retribution, the Il Sangue Cartel has lost it’s Kingpin, but not for long. There’s always someone in the wings, ready to step onstage and seize power. The Gypsy Brothers Motorcycle Club might be reeling from the deaths of their President and his six patch-wearing sons, but they’ve come back swinging.

Two deadly enemies, hundreds of bloodthirsty members, both sides eager to punish those that would try to topple them.

Two survivors, a man and a woman, forced to flee in the night.

For Juliette, vengeance is a hollow victory.

It never, ever ends.

The flames of incomplete vengeance are licking at her heels, and it’s only a matter of time before the Il Sangue cartel and the Gypsy Brothers catch her in their grip and crush her.

Unless she crushes them first.

Review by: Sam

This is IT!!!! The finale! It pains me to say those words, purely because this journey Lili StGermain and the unforgettable characters have taken us on is one OUT OF THIS WORLD series that will stay with me, forever!

Each of the books in this series have been gripping, raw, darker than dark and have taken me to places that have had my stomach churning, my nerves shattered and my heart leaping into my throat.

'Zero Hour' is book 8 in the Gypsy Brothers series. We get dual POV from both Jase and Juliette which from the very first page, sucked me in and delivered all of the gritty that this author brings to each book she writes.

Juliette is still recovering from the previous insanity she experienced but along with that, she is on the run, she cannot look forward to the future just yet, she is on the receiving end of distance mentally, emotionally and physically from Jase.
We have seen various sides to Juliette throughout the entire series, but in this book, I really felt her vulnerability. She is one of the strongest female lead characters I have read and overall, I am absolutely delighted with how this series finishes.

Jase is broken. He isn't the same guy we have read throughout the series and in this book, secrets are revealed and feelings are told. Jase has to face demons from his past and I have to say, I DID NOT EXPECT THAT! Holy freaking..... One minute I was like, "what is it? What has him so torn?" I have been used to reading his strength and LOVED his forever love for Juliette, but when HIS past is told I was like "WHAT IN THE ACTUAL WHAT????" Yeah! Couldn't believe it!

I feel so overwhelmed knowing this series has finished! The only cure for this issue is obviously to start the series all over again and fall completely head over heels in love all over again.

Jase, Juliette, Dornan and all of the other characters have a place deep in my soul. This is without a doubt one of my favourite dark series to grace the book world, and all I can do it thank Lili StGermain for blessing the world with her madness, her creativity and something that rocked my world.

EXCERPT

They say the apple never falls far from the tree, and I’d say this apple never fucking fell, period. I’m the shiny apple that might’ve looked the best on the surface—different to the rest of them, full of promise that there was another way—but they broke me. They made me worse than any of them could ever be.
I hurt people. I hurt women.
I killed people.
And that’s not even the worst of it.
The first man I ever killed was John Portland, and I cried as I pulled the trigger. Yeah, I was a stupid kid and he begged me to do it, and yeah, it was a mercy killing, but it doesn’t matter. Point is, his life was the first one I took—I killed Juliette’s father, for Christ’s sake—and after I ended his life with a single bullet, delivered in the dark in a dirty basement, I didn’t stop.
I couldn’t stop.
The last person I killed was Donny, my last surviving brother, and that was eight months ago. I ripped his fucking eyeball out before I butchered him, and the one single thing that stopped me from dismembering him was knowing that Juliette was watching me. Her screams broke through my haze of red, as I took Donny’s own knife and sunk it into his flesh, again and again, so deep it hit bone more than once. I severed the tendons that made his arms work, so he was putty underneath me. I straddled my own brother and thrust upon him the vengeful punishment that they all deserved. For Julz. For my mother. For everything.
I killed him, and I haven’t killed since.
I’m hungry. My palms are itching. It’s torture.
I don’t know how long I’m going to last before I have to draw blood again.
