I don’t know if I can find the words to describe just how good this book is..
If you have not yet had the pleasure of reading an Eden Summers book, you really need to get on to that. You have no idea what
you are missing!
This is one of those books that have you holding your breath in anticipation of what the characters are going to do next. It is not a thriller,
It is not violent, it is not about a vindictive couple. It is about two people that have honestly lost their way due to a lack of communication on
both their parts.
Cassie & TJ will at times frustrate you as a reader but at other times almost bring you to tears at the lengths they each go to trying to do the right thing.
Cassie initially comes across as timid & unassuming, however, when her new friend Shay gets her claws into her, things change & she finds a side of herself she
Never knew existed.
TJ is so caught up in his natural instinct to protect Cassie, he can’t see what is right in front of him. Lucky for him, his friends and business partners are there to set
him straight.
Now let’s talk about sexy heat.. This is the book where Eden Summers saves the best till last.. Get your fans out ladies, you will need it for the sexy that comes out
at different times but the best part is towards the end & you will see what I mean when you get to it.. You can’t miss it!!
There is the perfect amount of sexual tension throughout the story because despite what Cassie & TJ are going through this never dissipates. It is lying under the surface
throughout the whole book as is their love for each other.
The people they are by the end of the book are the same but also very different. They needed to go through their torment and angst to grow as a couple but also to discover things
about themselves and learn function as a loving well balanced couple.
I have no idea where Eden Summers comes up with these stories an all I can say is I hope she doesn’t stop for a long, long time.. I just hope she decides to write about Brute
next, I would love to read his story!!
Eden summers has a way of writing that doesn’t just draw you in, but has you believing you are reading about a real life couple that face real life issues. Her characters are not perfect, they
Are full of flaws and this makes them intriguing & captivating and leaves you wanting more every time!!
