In today's world of writing, we're used to a certain kind of story. We usually depend on the story to have a happy ending. It's one of the many factors we count on when deciding whether to read a story or not. LOVE is a different kind of story. I was intrigued by the synopsis alone. I knew not to expect the norm. While parts of it may seem predictable, you won't be prepared for the ending. You'll feel. You'll feel everything, all within just a few pages. And you won't see it coming.
Mia is strong. Some might even say too strong. She has walls built up so high that she doesn't truly know how to let anyone in. Yet, she meets Dylan, and is fascinated and intrigued by him from the very beginning.
This is a story that you'll have to read for yourself, but don't go in expecting hearts and flowers. You won't get it.
I laughed. I cried. Shock and awe - that's what comes to mind. It's all here. And I can say one thing with absolute certainty...I don't hate him.

That statement right there is what drew me in. I thought FINALLY a love story that didn’t have a HEA. There are only so many stories you can ready before you want to read about love and heartbreak. Not all love stories are painted red, I wanted raw and black.  So I jumped right on board to read this one.

Mia is a tattoo artist trying to make a name for herself. To say she has relationship issues is an understatement. She has Jason, who in all sense of the word is her FWB. She meets Dylan, who is like her when it comes to relationships. Now, I don’t mind a good love triangle but make it a solid triangle. Talk about the hesitation that the heroine/hero usually faces. They usually have regrets when it comes to one of them. This one however does not. It was ALL ABOUT SEX. And when I say that I mean she jumps from one bed to another….in the same day…… You have been warned.  So ultimately I was disappointed, just to be honest. While I promised not to hate “him” I ended up hating her.
