Title: Hawk's Property
Series: Insurgents MC #1
Author: Chiah Wilder
Genre: MC Romance
From the first time Hawk saw her, he knew he wanted to do dirty things to her in his bed.
Hawk, the muscled, tatted, badass Vice President of the Insurgents Motorcycle Club, sees women as bed warmers, nothing more. He never stays with the same woman, and although there are plenty of women who want to be his old lady, he wants none of that.
He doesn't date.
He doesn't let chicks ride on the back of his bike.
He doesn't fall in love.
And that suits him just fine until he meets her whose eyes light a fire in him. Problem is she's not so easy to get into his bed. Hawk wants her. And when Hawk wants something he takes it.
Cara Minelli doesn't want to go to the biker bar, but her friend talks her into it. Swearing off men since she caught her fiancé cheating on her right before her wedding, she has buried herself in her career not wanting a man in her life. Until she sees him. He is sexy, rough, crude, and oh so very wrong for her. So why can't she stop thinking of all the nasty things he'll do to her if she relents and lets him in her bed?
Then a vicious killer who has been strangling women in the area focuses on Cara. Police think bikers are involved. Can Cara set aside her trust issues and let Hawk into her life?
Hawk sees it as his job to protect what is his...and Cara is very much his even if she doesn't know it yet. Cara keeps her heart guarded, but when danger comes calling, their lives collide. Hawk will stop at nothing to keep Cara safe and make her “Property of Hawk”.
The Insurgents MC series are standalone romance novels. Hawk’s Property is Book One in the series. This book contains violence, strong language, and steamy sexual scenes. HEA. No cliffhangers. The book is intended for readers over the age of 18

The sexy cover grabbed my attention and made me want to read this book. The cover model matches perfectly with the image I have of Hawk. This rarely happens for me so it was a nice surprise.
I loved the storyline in this book. Along with the romance was a great mix of action, adventure, and mystery. I loved that we got small parts from the prospective of other key characters in the book beyond Hawk and Cara.
Cara was a great character. She was strong, sensitive, giving, and knew herself. She was herself throughout the entire book and I admired that. She had a lot of emotional ups and downs but powered through it.
Hawk was who he was and didn't offer any kind of apology for it. He didn't try to change for anyone. He was strong, to the point, but sweet when he wanted to be.
With so many twists and turns. Difficult storylines, and lots of family you couldn't help but like this book.

This is a wonderful start to a new MC series. Hawk and Cara are from two different ends of the spectrum. There is no possible way they could be more different. But when you get the two of them together, sparks fly. Cara knows nothing of the MC world. She has lived in her pretty little world for too long. Hawk has had a rough upbringing and found a home with the Insurgents MC. Cara has a hard time adjusting to Hawk’s life, but in the end it is worth everything. There are several plot twists that keep you on the edge of your seat. There is a lot of guessing in this story. I love that it did not give anything away. I can’t wait to see where this series will lead.
Chiah Wilder is the author of Hawk’s Property, the first book in the Insurgents MC Series. It is a full length, standalone novel. Its release date is set for October 27, 2015.
Always a lover of books, she began writing at a young age and continued through college with collections of short stories. Figuring she had to grow up and get a “real” job, her writing was placed on the back burner.
Her love of reading has always be center front in her life. Chiah’s love of bad boys both in and out of fiction has inspired her Insurgents series. She loves an alpha male whose softer side is brought out by a passionate, spirited woman. In fiction there are no rules or boundaries, and fantasies can go as far as the characters want to take them. Steamy, biker romances with rough, sexy bad boys are her guilty pleasure along with brownies, cheddar cheese, and movie marathons.
Returning to writing has been a dream come true. Writing and publishing Hawk’s Property has been an amazing journey, and she is happy to share the Insurgents family with her readers. She is busy writing her next book in the series.
