This is the one book in this series I have been most anticipating!! Jennifer Ryder gave me everything I wanted from the story of Ryan Clark, the PANTY MELTING detective who has been given a new undercover operation to accomplish. We first met Ryan in Spike and I loved his loyalty, his swoon worthy charm and just about EVERYTHING HE HAD TO OFFER!!

Ok, so if you have read any of the other books in the Spark series by Jennifer Ryder, you will have already briefly become acquainted with the very sexy detective Ryan Clark.
Ryan is a bit of a playboy. He works undercover & does not have time for a relationship. He is more often than not away on assignment. The other thing is that his job is not
really family or relationship friendly. It is way too secretive.
He has been sent away on an assignment in Perth & what he finds there literally knocks him on his butt.
Willow has a scary past. She went to Perth for a fresh start. She has rebuilt her life and thought this was as good as it gets. Until the day Ryan Clark aka Ryan Palmer walks
into her coffee shop. Life will never be the same. She finds herself wanting things she never thought she could have..
This is another Jennifer Ryder masterpiece. She knows how to write about hunky, spunky men & the women that bring them to their knees. The build-up and anticipation is hot, the sex and steam is hot,
the romance is sweet and swoon worthy, the danger is strong and the story line is faultless.
At the end I was holding my breath for both Willow & Ryan but for two completely different reasons. This story has moments that are heartbreaking, but also moments that are breathtaking. I adored
both Ryan and Willow as individual characters as well as a couple. They just matched each other perfectly. I loved that Jennifer made them mature in their personalities. They aren’t interested in playing games. Although
their relationship starts slow, once they are in, they are both all in.
This is one of those books that you will pick up & not want to put down until you get to the end.
Love, love, loved it!!

“Brown eyes and Blondie”… two unlikely people that met in the most unlikely of situations, take an adventure that leads them down a path of redemption, healing and discovery. This book was all of that for me. I learned that pain can be something so strong it is almost impossible to bear. Trust can be crippling and lust can be so powerful it burns you from the inside out. Willow and Ryan felt all of those things and more. They fought for the life they built as individuals and the life they will struggle to build together.
I really like the setting of this book! I LOVE books that are set in other countries from mine. I feel like I can take a trip and experience the story and let my imagination fly!! This story was exciting because it was sea side and I could feel the whimsy of the café and the breeze from the shore. I loved that the relationship could be as casual as the tide…the ebb and flow was beautiful.
I LOVED the characters also. I like the quick and quirky Gabby. She had me laughing throughout the whole book! She brought in the comic relief exactly when it was needed to keep the angst low. Willow and Ryan were beautiful. Coming from different worlds, they built a friendship that tested both of them. This was an amazing story line and character choice for sure.
I recommend this book highly. This books was an easy read for me and kept my interest the whole way thought. It had great flow and did not fill me with an empty story line. The author delivered a beautiful book. I give this book and easy 4 stars.
