making marks that cannot be removed.
Not able to be forgotten or removed
Permanent, lasting, ingrained, enduring, unforgettable, haunting

Some people stay with you. Sometimes love won’t let go. Some marks on the heart cannot be erased.

When Owen walked away from Ally he thought he was doing what was best for her. That’s what he told himself. It was a decision that he regretted instantly. Now, he has to figure out how too change his ways and win her back. This will be the hardest fight of his life. But she is worth it. She is everything.

Ally isn’t the same girl that Owen left six months ago. She shut down. It was survival. She can’t go back. She can’t let him back in. Losing him was too hard to go through the first time. But he keeps showing up, saying all the right words, doing all the right things. Will she be able to resist him? Can a person really change? Is he worth the risk to find out?

Review by: Sam
This is book two in the 'Unfinished' series by Shae Scott. After THAT ending in book 1, I was highly anticipating this book and wanted to kick Owen's ass so hard followed by kissing his face off! I didn't think I would be able to love him anymore after his lack of fight and pure stupidity, but Shae proved me wrong by delivering this book!! Owen, I am calling dibs. I had high hopes for his redemption and Shae Scott has signed sealed and delivered that with perfection! It is six months since beautiful Ally was left broken, she has since moved forward with her life and is concentrating on building herself back up, life is pretty darn good. She is with another guy called William who can I just say, made my heart break. Like real ugly tears and sobs! I felt so sorry for him! Owen however, is attempting to hook, line and sinker HIS girl and finally make her his, FOREVER! He wants to tell her all the things he should have previously, he wants to PROVE himself, he wants to be able to give her everything she rightfully deserves. But will Ally's insecurities prevent them from moving forward? Will Ally give him that other chance? I have to give a special mention to Grams. That woman and her words of wisdom have taken up such a special place in my heart. This is a fantastic follow up to book 1 and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this series! Shae's writing is full of emotion, beauty and ALL THE FEELS. I cannot wait to read for from Shae Scott! She rocks my socks! 5 BEAUTIFUL REDEEMING STARS

Growing up an only child, Shae Scott fell in love with words at an early age, learning the best friends in the world can be found among the pages of a book.

Born in Oklahoma, she fell in love on vacation in San Francisco and ended up with a happily ever after in Missouri.

Her first book, Unfinished, was released in 2014. She currently lives outside Kansas City with a bearded man, a Pomeranian and a cat formally known as Tinkerbell Waffles. She loves rainy days, the month of February and the Kansas City Royals
