Sexy Lies and Rock & Roll by Sawyer Bennett • FMR Review

BLURB:

From NYT Bestselling author, Sawyer Bennett, comes a SEXY new stand alone romance…

When you’re a rock god, fame and fortune are your two best friends, but they can be fickle bitches. Everyone wants a piece of me and I have no clue how to deal with it all. I’m being sued, pressured to sign contracts, and fending off rabid women who want to steal my virtue.

Well, not that I really have any virtue, but still… my life has turned completely bat-shit crazy.

That’s why I need Emma Peterson. She got me out of a bit of a jam once, and I know she can do it again. The only problem is that sweet, prim and totally straight-laced Emma doesn’t want anything to do with me. Not professionally, and certainly not personally.
It’s not that I want her in that way. Let’s be realistic… it would take a crow bar of epic proportions to get her to spread those legs for me.
No, I only want her legal expertise and for her to make sense of my crazy world. It’s a good thing I have just the leverage to make her do my bidding, because her refusal is not an option.

*Sexy Lies and Rock & Roll is a hot, romantic comedy stand alone.

I LOVE EVAN SCOTT!!! #1 Groupie!!!

This was such a fun, more lighthearted read but still deliciously hot read from Sawyer Bennett! The author takes on the world of Rock and Roll and delivered a fantastic book!

I really enjoyed the characters. Evan is the rock super star with the playboy image but he was super sweet. He still possessed the alpha male persona but the way he was with Emma...SWOON! Emma was more reserved but let her guard down with Evan but she did stand up for herself when she needed too. She took a chance and while there were some bumps in the road, it paid off.

The story was fun and fast paced. There was drama and humor spread through out the story. For me, some of the more dramatic parts where sort of rushed over. The situation with Keith seemed to be resolved pretty quick and I feel that there wasn't much closure regarding Tyler. As far as the main characters and their story, I really enjoyed it. Another amazing book from Sawyer Bennett!

Sawyer Bennett does it again and gives us a sexy, exhilarating and addicting story!!!! Who doesn't love  a rock star but imagine one who is a indie artist up and coming and truly just a great job who hasn't let the fame get to his head.... meet Evan and damn is he sexy and confident!!! I loved his character and loved his confidence!

When he meets Emma...sweet, innocent, naive Emma! Boy does he rock her world...literally!!! They have chemistry like fire and they are so perfect together but in the industry Evan is in can Emma handle it ...the fame, the women and everything that is thrown at Evan???? Can a every day girl be enough for a Rock Star? Or will it just be a fling or temporary thing till something or someone better comes along?

No spoilers here!! I highly recommend this book it's s quick addicting read and one you will enjoy from page one and want to never end!

Loved, loved, loved how sawyer works her magic and crate awesomeness! She creates characters and story lines that just fit and mesh so well you feel nostalgic and modern all in the same breath. You can seek comfort in the words that become so easy to read you feel as though you already know them. This story is no exception.

Evan and Emma are unlikely yet so perfect fit. They get shoved together in an odd circumstance and must figur out a way to coexist while not letting themselves get to far away. He completely wants more from her and she's scared to let go and an unlikely agreement leads them both into a temptation neither can ignore.

I like this book because it was easy to read and lacked crazy angst. I loved that Sawyer brought secondary characters in that we've seen in another series!!! That truly made my day. Everyone seemed seamless in this book from the storyline , to the characters to the jumps in scenery. All worth the read for me!!

Wow this one is just a little different.
I love Sawyer Bennett no matter what she writes. Its always amazing
Sexy Lies and Rock & Roll is sweet, funny and very sexy.
Evan is likable and so secure in who he his that it made me wish there were more men like him walking around. He's got confidence to spare and isn't afraid to go after what he wants. And Evan wants Emma.
It took me a while to warm up to Emma. Her constant stick up her butt act really kind of annoyed me. But then she began to loosen up a little and she began to shine. Her simple act of caring for Evan and not his life style makes her special.
This book is a quick lighthearted read that will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy at the end.
