This is a great feel good story about love, loss and redemption.

It's about 2 young people, Riley and Devon who meet in college and fast become best friends. After college things changed and they basically go their own separate ways and loose contact.
Years later they accidentally reconnect and find out on both side there have been huge changes that neither of them expected.

This is one of those stories where you can see where it is going but you don't care because it is well written enough that you are so caught up in it that it makes no difference.
The characters are likeable, the story line is believable and the writing flows and is easy to follow.

If you want a quick, fell good holiday read then add this to your one click list.

Devyn knows what she wants in life and had her future all planned out and boys weren’t on her map. Riley was the boy she met in college who became her best friend. Riley wanted more right from the start but knew friendship was all he was going to get. Until a few days before graduation when Devyn wanted him to help her with one last thing before she became an “adult”, and that was taking her V card. Could one night together change the course of their lives together or will they stay “just friends”? BALLS TO THE WALLS BABY!

I enjoyed this book, while I think the author did a great job making it realistic it is similar to the ones I have read this year. What I liked most was it showed what life is like during college, having a male best friend and how one night could change your life forever. There was no over the top lying or manipulation, which could ruin a story line such as this. NO hatred for the other when lies and secrets unfolded, when that could have been warranted. All of those aspects made the book so much better.

Laura Lee is the author of the bestselling Karli Lane series as well as the upcoming Dealing With Love series. She is a proud member of the Romance Writers of America focusing on paranormal, urban fantasy, and contemporary romance.

Laura's passion has always been storytelling. She spent most of her life with her nose in a book thinking of alternate endings or continuations to the story. She won her first writing contest at the ripe old age of nine, earning a trip to the state capital to showcase her manuscript. Thankfully for her, those early works will never see the light of day again!

Laura lives in the Pacific Northwest with her wonderful husband, two beautiful children, and three of the most poorly behaved cats in existence. She likes her fruit smoothies filled with rum, her cupboards stocked with Cadbury's chocolate, and her music turned up loud. When she's not writing or watching HGTV, she's reading anything she can get her hands on. She's a sucker for spicy romances, especially those involving vampires or cowboys!
