In Stealing His Heart Tara and Jake grew up together. Both were thieves, always stealing and getting into trouble. They were best friends and one night they crossed the line….but not all the way over. Jake enlisted into the military and Tara never heard from him again.
Tara, though loaded from inheritance, steals for a living but she is like a modern day Robin hood. She steals people’s stolen items back for them. One night on a job, she is intercepted by Jake, who now works for The Shilling Agency. Feelings resurface and they both fight it. Tara has 2 days to give Jake information on how she breached the security of a safe or he is forced to turn her in.
Like most books in this series, it was predictable but a lot of fun to read. I loved the mention of characters from previous books and I loved the re-development of Jake and Tara’s relationship. The characters were fun to read and their chemistry jumped off the pages. This book was a really fun book to read and the sex was super steamy. A great summer read with an HEA.
