This was my first Kasey Millstead novel & I'm definitely looking forward to reading more of her writing! With a plot filled with revenge, hot ass bikers, and mystery, Vengeance is Mine sure knows how to keep a reader's attention. It’s not your typical MC book as it focuses more on her but it sure brings the rugged, kill 'em with a stare alpha edge that we love from MC books. And boy oh boy, can Kasey write a hot scene! She should change her name to Kasey "hot" Millstead or Kasey "make ya melt" Millstead. Both would be so fitting! My iPad was on fiyyaah!
Ella Moore summed up in one gif: After experiencing a great loss, Ella leaves everything behind and embarks on a journey years in the making to avenge those she lost. With the help of two close allies and a mysterious unknown informant, she infiltrates the motorcycle club responsible and her goal seems even more of a possibility. Though her mission is planned for flawless execution, it sure comes with its surprises. One being a bit of a twist in the end, which to me was a bit predictable, but was still an interesting piece of the plot. Ella sure does go through quite a bit in a short amount of time. But she soon learns that in moments of despair, magical things can happen. They could lead you down an unexpected road filled with promises and happy endings. Ella Moore starts off as a lost girl not knowing how to move on after tragedy and transforms into a bad ass chick who takes no prisoners. A phoenix. If your a fan of the Gypsy Brothers series by Lili St. Germain or just in general a fan of sexy suspenseful reads, you should definitely give this novel a chance! It’s a short read but it will still leave you satisfied!

Vengeance is Mine follows Alecia Reynolds whom was doted on a lot by her parents. She loved and respected them. Unfortunately, she received news of her parent’s death when she was eighteen. However, she slowly discovers the truth of their death and so she heads out to seek vengeance as Ella Moore.
The writing for this book was done really well. I found it to be very engaging. The storyline was pretty interesting and unique. It was also very dark and gritty. It wasn’t light-hearted at all. I understood the emotions that Ella experienced. The struggles that she had to face since her parents died to her finding out the truth and to her planning out her revenge on the Spades Motorcycle Club.
Even though I enjoyed the book, I did have a few problems. One of the issues that bugged me was Ella’s methods. I understood that she did what she had to. I didn’t mind it. But I wasn’t necessarily comfortable with the way she decided to approach it. Other than that, there were certain parts of the book that was a little predictable. It doesn’t really bother me but it would have been great if there was more suspense.
All in all, it was a pretty good and solid novel. I’m very sure that this book will appeal to a lot of people that are interested in new adult novels.
