Sassy, dramatic, hot-headed are just some of the words used to describe me since the time I was born. A few little mishaps growing up and my mom has a running ‘Emerson Baker’ prayer circle, and I have the reputation of a spit-fire that won’t go away.
I prefer the terms loyal, passionate, fiery, and possibly a bit impulsive.
So when my best friend proposes the concept of starting our own business, I jump on the idea.
CHEATERS BEWARE!
That should be our motto… because your secrets can’t stay hidden for long with Trixsters Anonymous on the case.
We are the moonlighting duo hell-bent on helping those who suspect their lovers are cheating. We’re professional, careful, and completely anonymous…What could possibly go wrong?
Walker Scott… that’s what goes wrong.
I never stood a chance against the gorgeous, hazel-eyed, fiercely determined man who storms into my life and completely blindsides me.
He’s the proof that opposites attract—and when they do, the chemistry is explosive.
Did I mention he’s also a detective? A very, very, talented detective?
Pretty soon being a Trixster is a lot more complicated.

I have one questions.. Where can I get me a Walker Scott?? Please, pretty please??
Seriously, this is the man every girl wants!! I am pretty sure Ahren Sanders has tapped into every woman’s fantasies to come up with this character!!
I kid you not, this guy has the body to make you want to sin and just enough Alphaness to stop you in your tracks! But, and here is the best bit, he knows when to back off & give Emmerson her space to let her do her thing, even if he doesn’t like it or agree with it.
Emerson is a beautiful woman who attracts trouble like sugar attracts ants. But Walker wouldn’t have her any other way.
The dynamic between these two characters is one that has sparks flying all over the place as soon as they come into contact with each other.
The banter is a cross between witty and steamy because the attraction is so strong that they are easily distracted by each other, Not in a ditzy way, just in the way that they are so in love with each other that nothing else exists when they are together. It is a beautiful road they travel building their lives together.
Because Walker and Emerson are such strong characters they have been given a strong support cast by the author that not only compliments them within the story line, but lifts them up and helps them stand out and shine bright.
Maren is Emerson’s bestie and together they are a force to be reckoned with. Quite literally. The whole town knows who they are and what they get up to!
Marcus is Walker’s bestie & let me say, if you can’t get yourself a Walker than Marcus in most certainly the next best thing. He has Walker’s back no matter what and vice versa. Both Emerson & Walkers parents bring their own dynamics to the mix and you can easily see the family resemblance when they are all together.
In amongst the romance and they strong family/friends bonds and the downright sext steamy moments there is also a bit of action going on that will have you holding your breath in anticipation & being left captivated and in awe of Emerson. The girl is a match for no one and when she has the support of her family and friends there is just no stopping her.
I loved the characters, I loved the story line and Ahren Sanders is fast becoming one of my all time favourite authors. I am starting to think there is nothing she can’t write!!
This book is worth every positive review it gets and has shot into my top 5 reads of 2017. It is definitely worthy of you getting your one click finger out for.

Ahren spent her formative years living in an active volcano. There her family made collectible lava art. She studied rock collecting at the Sorbonne in France. There she met the love of her life-her pet pig Sybil. She returned to the states and started writing. She is happily married to a guy who used to live under a bridge and she met while pole-dancing.
Now, meet the real me. I grew up in the south and consider myself a true “Southerner”. Most of the special locations mentioned in my books are reflections of my favorite places. Living on the Florida coast, my family spends a lot time at the beach, which is where I usually can be found with a book in my hand.
