COMEBACK COWBOY by Sara Richardson • BLOG TOUR & REVIEW

 COMEBACK COWBOY
by Sara Richardson
is now LIVE!

Blurb:

A WOMAN NEVER FORGETS HER FIRST COWBOY . . .
As a single mother, Naomi Sullivan is used to doing things on her own. She's finally saved enough from working at the Cortez Ranch to buy a lovely home for her and her little girl. Life is going as planned. But when her high school sweetheart comes riding back to town, this self-sufficient woman feels something she hasn't felt in years: red-hot, unbridled need for the handsome cowboy who left her behind.

Lucas Cortez doesn't plan on being in town long. Yet when he sees Naomi again-the gorgeous girl he never stopped loving-he's tempted to hang up his hat and stay awhile. He's already charmed his way into her daughter's heart, but he'll need more than sweet talk and roses to convince Naomi to give them a second chance-especially when she's hiding a secret that could change their lives forever . . .

Review by: Flavia

I didn't read the previous book in the series, but I didn't have any difficulty reading or following this one.
Lucas went to prison for committing a crime and now he is back in his hometown after years of being out and working on another farm. His brother is getting married and he's home to help out a bit. But being home means seeing the only women he has ever loved, and also dealing with a town where people hate him for what he did and for being a felon.

Naomi is on track with her life finally. She is buying a house and turning it into a little inn for her and her daughter. But now Lucas is back and she is doing everything she can to avoid him, but when you are connected to someone in such a way that he is a part of you, you can't avoid him for ever.
And now it seems like everything is falling apart, her ex husband is back wanting time with his daughter, when he just walked out on them when she was a baby, Lucas is back in her life and someone is hellbent on framing him for a crime.

I enjoyed this story, Naomi was sexy, sassy, sweet and she was an awesome mother. Lucas is loyal hot and I mean really he's a cowboy, lol... But some parts of him annoyed me. Every time things got to hard he wanted to run back to his old life and his old job. But Naomi was the stronger one and wouldn't let him give up

I really want to read Levi's story though... The wild brother...

Review by: Leeann

This is a nice second chance romance that proves things are not always as they seem.

Naomi & Lucus were young and in love but torn apart due to a misplaced sense of loyalty.
They have both moved on with their lives but now Lucas is back and he is carrying with him a whole lot of
feelings that never went away.
There are some big revelations and twist and turns that come up in this story and they are things that rock their
family to its core.

The story flows well and has a nice sense of family togetherness that ties all the characters together and bonds them
for life.
The character development is subtle and effortless and the author brings them full circle.
This a story where there are decisions to be made an forgiveness to be had but not just by the two central characters
In the book. The plot involves the whole family in one way or the other.

This is my first book by this author & I look forward to reading more of her work.
