Neither bargain for what the other brings to the table, and when both think they’ve found exactly what they’re looking for, Reese makes a discovery about Everett’s deceased wife. The shocking revelation leaves him questioning the value of trust; the very thing he convinced Reese she had found in him. This is a hot, sexy read with descriptive sexual scenes and harsh language.

What a smooth read! This is one of those books you pickup and don't put down until you're done.

The story flowed seamlessly page by page, alternating from Reese and Everett's points of views. The POV switch added depth to the story and made you fall deeper in like with the characters.

Reese was brought into work at Casteel Motorsports to help with a "tax issue" the business was having. CM is run by the Casteel family and is overflowing with hot manly biker mechanics that ooze testosterone. Reese being an attractive woman immediately becomes the center of attention once joining the company. Outwardly she is cool calm and collected; on the inside, she's emotionally scarred from losing someone she thought she loved.

Everett is one of the Casteel brothers and the CEO of Casteel Motorsports. Since the death of his wife two years ago, he has been a recluse. He is instantly attracted to Reese and he can tell she feels it too. When they are both tired for fighting their attraction, Reese proposes they enter into a friends with benefits arrangement that will last for two months. After twisting his arm, Ev agrees and the chemistry between them is allowed to explode.

As the story progresses, you can see that Reese and Ev are developing feelings for one another. Neither one of the is too trusting, hence the name of the book, and are scared to open themselves up to love. You can see that their relationship is helping both of them heal. The fly in the ointment for Reese and Ev is the "tax issue" Reese was hired to help resolve. Reese has her suspicions about the cause of the "tax issue" and knows that she needs proof or she will jeopardize her relationship with Ev.

At this point you might be asking yourself what is so special about this book - the answer is the characters. The characters seem like they could step off the pages of the book into the real world. The banter, pranking and other interpersonal communications are very realistic - very believable. Then the author has Reese's sister Becca dating one of the Casteel brothers, Travis. With every turn of the page, you were chatting with your best friend about people you know. I sure hope the author has ideas and books planned for the other Casteel men.

Remember?” She stands, and those eyebrows of hers are about to reach the peak of her forehead as her fists rest against her hips. Why in the hell did I agree to condition two? “Look, apparently you worked at stuffier establishments than this. We’re a family business, and everyone is laid back here. You’re paranoid. There’s never a destination far enough to get my fill of the open road, and I have an uneasy yet thrilling sense that I won’t get my fill of Reese, either. She’s layers of mystery that I need time to unfold, and her feistiness gets my blood coursing and dick throbbing, leaving me desperate for a release. Sliding my hands into the back of her hair, I hold her still and start at the hollow of her neck. The tip of my tongue embarks on its journey upward, making small circles. She swallows hard beneath it, and knowing she’s excited has my cock aching against my zipper. Her hands slip under the front of my black t-shirt, blasting me with heat as my tongue skates its way up. I circle her ear before the tip barely skims along the skin behind it. “What you do to me, I can’t explain it. I have to show you.
