I was captivated from the very beginning. January wasn’t a very lovable character in the beginning; she came off as your stereotypical spoil brat. But as the story progressed you were able to see what a strong and kind person she was.
I love Christian; he has been through a lot the last two years which made him shut people off. The chemistry between Christian and January was fantastic; it was great to see them help each other heal and move on with their lives.
The story line was amazing; I felt a lot of different emotions while reading. From my heart breaking for Christian to wanting to smack January’s parents to laughing at Christian and January’s banter.
I love this book!! I highly recommend it for people who love new adult books. I would give it five stars.

The Fall of January Cooper showcases mankinds ability to pick oneself off the ground and put one foot in front of the other after your world has come crashing down.
January Cooper's fiancee got arrested for possession of drugs while he was with strippers on the way to the meeting where he was supposed to sign a pre-nupital agreement. January heads off to college to escape the publicity and it seems to be working until her dad gets arrested for securities fraud. All their bank accounts have been seized and January has no way to pay rent. Scared and alone January does what any sane college student does - she gets a job bartending. It's her first job ever - until this point in her life she has been living the typical rich pampered spoiled life.
Enter Christian, January's savior in disguise. They work together at the bar. He's down and out too. Two years ago his hockey career ended prematurely due to a car crash that shattered his leg and killed his twin brother Sam. Every day he wakes up knowing he killed his brother and he won't be able to have his career of choce - professional hockey.
January and Cooper become friends or so it would seem. Cooper blows hot and cold towards January and she doesn't understand why. Even though Cooper is a jerk sometimes January isn't ready to give up on him. This is the tale of how to people overcome loss together, become friends but do they become lovers?
The Fall of January Cooper was a thoroughly entertaining read. You laugh as much as you cry. I can't wait to see the next book.
