OMG if you thought 72 Hours was hectic, wait till you read this one!!!
I was hooked from the first page of this book!
Marlie Jacobson was kidnapped by a serial killer and she survived her ordeal. Not fully intact, but considering what she went through I doubt anyone would come away without some heavy scars. But she lived to tell the tale. But with it comes so many other problems. People wanting a piece of you, reporters wanting her story, everyone wanting to know how she did it. And as if that isn't bad enough her own mother wrote a book about her life.
And now it seems like her worst fear has come alive, because Marlie's sister is missing and she has no idea what to do or where to start.
So she goes for help
Kenai Michelson is a famous investigator. Known for tracking down and finding missing people. At first his not interested in her case but she convinces him to help her find her sister. What starts out as a missing sister turns into something that Marlie would never have ever thought would be possible. But with Kenai on her side maybe she can put all her nightmares finally to rest and put her past behind her.
Everything about this story will have you hooked from beginning to end. Everything seemed so real to me. I felt like I was living everything with Kenai and Marlie. I loved the back and forth banter between these two as well, will have you LOL sometimes.
I hope there is more stories like this from this author as I am seriously loving all this angst and horror

This storyline was phenomenal. These characters are another shining example of the level of devotion that this author gives all of her work. I loved every minute of Marllie's journey back to herself. This woman grew some serious lady balls. Kenai will be your next BBF. Everyone will be calling dibs on him! All brooding alpha male! I am so glad that the author branched out and gave these characters life. I am excited to see where she take us next!
