Every. Single. Time. There are authors that write great stories. They flow great and are fun to get lost in. And then there are authors like A.L. Jackson. Poignant. Breathtaking. Just all around astounding. I knew that this story was going to break my heart in ways, but I always have faith that Ms. Jackson will always rebuild it.
Zee knows pain. He knows guilt. He knows regret. Very few things bring him true pleasure and happiness. He won't allow it in some ways.
Alexis grew up happy. She was carefree and uninhibited. She was the free spirit. Until someone close to her went off course. All of it her doing. Regret is an ugly burden to bear.

Reading this book was bittersweet. I have awaiting Zee's story for some time now, but while reading it, I wanted nothing more than to prolong the journey. Not only was it an exceptionally written story, it was just the ending this series needed. I laughed. I cried. I smiled until my cheeks hurt. This series really has it all. It's addictive and completely captivating. No one will be able to top it. These stories are what others are compared to.

Zee and Alexis will rock your world. This story was incredible. One of the most emotional rides I have been on with this series. These two characters are dealing with such similar circumstances and situations. The chemistry between them is explosive, but for me, the journey was everything. This book kept me hooked till the very last word. I cried so many years for all of these characters. I am sad that the series has come to a close, but it went out in a blaze of glory.
