We have all waited for Bridger's story since Wicked Fall came out and we finally got it and it did not disappoint! I knew he was a complicated man but his childhood rivaled anything that came to mind. He is one complex character! This story leads us more outside of The Wicked Horse and leads us straight to a local Motorcycle Club. That's where most of the drama stems from and it was a lot of drama but it kept the story interesting. Once I started it was a hard book to put down.
I thought the story was well written, everything flowed nicely. The characters were interesting and had a lot of depth to them. Bridger, especially, he had such a rough childhood that shaped him as an adult. I really enjoyed finally getting his story and what makes him tick. I was a little bummed to see the story step out from The Wicked Horse and The Silo. It has become such a big part of the book and this one went in a different direction.
I just loved this series and I am sad to see it come to an end! While this is book five in the series, all the books can be read as standalone. All the books have interconnecting characters but each book focuses on one couple. Sawyer Bennett is a favorite author of mine and she did an amazing job writing the last chapter in The Wicked Horse.

Through this entire series I've been dying to get the sexy and mysterious Bridger's story and when I finally did Maggie totally stole the show. She is everything I want in a h and what I rarely get. She was so strong, independent, selfless, and just all around amazing. Her story wasn't an easy one but she made the best of the hand she was dealt.
Bridger was who I expected him to be with a past more terrible than I had imagined. His strength and loyalty are surprising considering what he lived through. It quickly became clear why he was the way he was and just made me love him more.
This was a well put together and executed storyline. I was excitedly turn the page through the entire book and never really sure what would happen next. Sawyer Bennett nailed it with this book.

Can I just say WOW?
All through this series it seems that I, along with every other Wicked Horse fan has been waiting for Bridger's story. And omg what a story it is. Heartbreaking and triumphant.
Recovering from a devastating upbringing isn't ever easy and Bridger does it. But not without a few really big bumps in the road. Sawyer Bennett makes bumps very very well.
Maggie was a surprise one that I liked instantly. She's got a fire inside that matched Bridger perfectly.
This story kept me on my toes and kept me flipping pages well past my bedtime.
Wicked Bond isn't a soft sweet story. It's struggle and heartbreak. It's running for your life and running toward something so good you've just gotta catch it no matter what.
