How to Date a Douchebag by Sara Ney • RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW

Title: How To Date A Douchebag
Series: The Studying Hours #1
Author: Sara Ney
Genre: NA Romance
Release Date: September 13, 2016

CRUDE. ARROGANT. A**HOLE.
No doubt about it, Sebastian ‘Oz’ Osborne is the university’s most celebrated student athlete—and possibly the biggest douchebag. A walking, talking cliché, he has a filthy mouth, a fantastic body, and doesn’t give a sh*t about what you or anyone else thinks.
SMART. CLASSY. CONSERVATIVE.
Make no mistake, Jameson Clarke may be the university’s most diligent student—but she is no prude. Spending most of her time in the hallowed halls of the library, James is wary of pervs, jocks, and douchebags—and Oz Osborne is all three.
She’s smart, sarcastic—and not what he expected.
…EVERY DOUCHBAG HAS HIS WEAKNESS.
He wants to be friends.
He wants to spend time with her.
He wants to drive her crazy.
He wants…
Her.

Oh what a fun read!!! Sexy, hot confident Douchebag Sebastian aka OZ is everything Jameson steers clear of! But after a crazy bet from Zeke (aka the biggest Douchebag) they become friends & OZ finds himself in a undeniable war with himself and these unknown feelings he has for James....meanwhile Jameson doesn't want to fall for the unattainable jock but she is having the hardest time not wanting to dive in and have all of him!!!!

I highly recommend this sexy, fun read by Sara Ney!!! 4.5 BIG STARS for How to Date a Douchebag! And I can't wait for book 2 cuz I so want to know why and how Zeke is the way he is and if he can really find love???

The title of this book is what attracted me to it. How to Date a Douchebag. I pictured a cocksure hero who was full of himself and thought he was God's gift to women and a girl who kept turning down his advances. Sebastian, or Oz as everyone on campus knows him, isn't THAT bad, but he is pretty full of himself. What started with a bet soon turns into a regular, annoying relationship. James, short for Jameson, was curious what it would be like to kiss someone like Oz. He's not the type of guy she normally goes for. In her pearl necklace and buttoned cardigan, Oz thought she was the studious, virginal type. He's soon to find out he was wrong. James doesn't know who he is, doesn't listen to his lines and want to immediately fall in bed with him. No, she dishes out BS with the best of them. It's what jump starts his attraction to her. From there, it's a battle of wills to see how long James can hold out before admitting how she really feels.
I fell in love with the story. James is a girl after my own heart. She's sarcastic and witty. While she may look prim and proper, she's anything but. She's a super fun heroine. Oz...he's a bit of a Chatty Cathy. He is ALWAYS talking. He has his serious side. He takes his schooling and wrestling seriously, but that's about where it stops. He's always making some type of comment to try to make James uncomfortable and blush. He lives for those moments when he has her squirming in her seat.
These two were great together. Once things really took off, James didn't become the naive, unsure, jealous girl we see so many turn out to be once they start dating the hot jock. She's still just as sure of herself and confident. That's what I loved about her. She knows that Oz has a past. He slept around. She's seen it firsthand for herself, but she doesn't let that cloud her relationship with him. She gives it her all and hopes not to get her heart broken in the mean time. I really didn't expect to love this story as much as I did. Sara Ney is a new to me author that I'll be looking out for more from. I can't wait to read the next book. It's sure to be a good one!

I love romantic comedies. I love them even more when they literally make you laugh out loud.
Sebastian Osborne "Oz" is the cocky, arrogant college guy who doesn't want commitment. Jameson Clark "James" is the cute girl who is always in the library studying. Which believe it or not is how they met. Ok, so maybe not HOW they met but WHERE they met.
These two have the best chemistry together. For every perverted comment Oz had, James often had a witty and hysterical come back for him. I really hope there are more books to this series and that they are just as funny as this one. This was my first book by Sara Ney and if others are like this, it won't be my last.

He's handsome and smooth. Can probably get laid any day, any time. But he's as dumb as a FREAK'N post when it comes to really scoring with a girl. A real girl can see his crap one liners from a mile away and wouldn't give him the time of day. That is, until she needs to give him the time of day. Until he needs her to win a bet and she needs to teach him a lesson , then its game on!!

James isn't about to get hurt, Oz is so far from hurting a girl it isn't funny. But when these two meet up in the library over a bet something changes. He's seeing past her nerd girl exterior and she's trying really hard not to want to see past his douchebaggery.  Not necessarily a match made in heaven, but there is definitely a match lighting a spark between em that isn't king to go unnoticed.

Cute, witty and super fun this book really had me with the title and then won me over with the great writing and unforgettable characters. I laughed so hard I had to re read sections and just flew through the pages. Easy read, fun storyline and definitely recommend!

"...This is a book you must read. So wickedly funny. Ridiculously entertaining. If you like the jerks as much as I do, you will go head-over-heels in love with How To Date A Douchebag! I started this one late one night and had to move to the couch so I didn't wake up my husband..." -Author Adriana Locke

Jameson’s face is an impassive mask. “Hayley told me you broke up with your last girlfriend over Twitter.”
A grimace twists my mouth into a frown. “Oh, Hayley told you, did she? Didn’t your mother teach you not to listen to rumors?”
“Yes, but is it true?”
“Yes, but in my defense, she wasn’t my girlfriend. She was a pity f**k who turned into a clinger.”
“A Twitter breakup?” This time Jameson winces. “That’s bad.”
“Sorry, but it’s the truth. It was the only way to get rid of her. Trust me, I did her a favor.”
“How is that doing her a favor? She was probably humiliated!” Then, “Can I ask what the tweet said?”
I chuckle. “Why don’t you just go on Twitter and look for yourself.”
Those fascinating eyes, which have been judging me for the past few minutes, narrow into bright blue slits as she drags her phone across the table, flips it over, and unlocks the screen.
Gives it a few taps.
“What name am I looking for?”
“OneTapUofI. All one word.”
Type, type, type.
Narrowed eyes widen, dark eyebrows shoot up. Her pert mouth falls open a fraction in horror when she finds it. “This is terrible! You are so crude.”
I chuckle again. “Read it out loud so I can get a good laugh.”
“No!”
“Oh come on, Jim! She had it coming.”
“No! You called her a troll—that is so uncalled for.” She glances down at the screen of her phone. “This whole tweet is terrible.”
“Careful, you’re repeating yourself.”
“Oh shut up, you—”
“Asshole?”
“Yes.”
“Dickhead?”
“Yes.”
“Douchebag?”
She titters. “You said it, not me.”

Purveyor of all things witty & romantic, I love: iced latte's, traveling, and bright, bold colors. On any given day, you can find me in my office, lovingly gazing at my bookshelf or shuffling my Bic felt-tip pen collection. I love hand writing letters, and sarcasm.

I live in the midwest, but "Will Write for Travel," and believe everyone should follow their dreams, no matter how big or small. My favorite authors include Cindy Miles, S Walden, Suzanne Enoch, Tessa Dare (to name a few). I am a glutton for Historical, RomCom, Sports and MC romance.
One husband. Two daughters. Plenty of chaos.
