Two completely different worlds collide in one of the most exciting cites in the US and sparks have to fly right? Well... Yes and no. I mean sparks can fly but so can pigs and the chances of Cara giving in to her boss Roman are pretty slim. You see she's a small town rule follower and he's a powerful playboy. This combination is usually deadly, until now.
The timeline of this book had me flipping back and forth a few times trying to get my bearings. I liked the storyline and the general make up of the characters but they seemed rushed at times and drawn out at others. Roman was a very complicated character and needed lots of space to develop, which he was afforded. Cara on the other hand, wasn't so lucky. I would have like to see more with her. The setting was amazing as always, I mean it's New York!!
Loved the writing, liked the characters and the over all theme was great. Flow could have been a little smoother but it didn't effect my enjoy,net of this book. This was my first JL Bergbook and I will definitely read another.
I do recommend is book and give it 4stars

Roman Cavenaugh is a hot, sexy, wealthy man who has it all but the one thing he didn't realize he needed in his life till he met HER....Cara! She is a simple, innocent and full of life young lady that sweeps Roman into a white ins of emotions he never felt! But it's not all sunshine and rainbows for these two....this story has depth and twists and turns and sext hot romance all in one!
I'm a huge fan of JL Berg and Once again I find myself more in love with this women! I highly recommend BehindClosed Doors and hope you take a chance and see what's behind the door....you won't be disappointed :)
