This story rocked my world! Literally! I floved it! I sat on the edge of my seat the entire time, screaming at my Kindle, and crying my eyes out! I am a huge fan of this author, so naturally when her books pop up for us to review I am usually the first on the list to read and review. This story went above and beyond my wildest expectations. I guess I am spoiled and have become used to high quality work from this author. I have not read a book of hers yet that I haven’t loved. (case and point: I bought 14, FOURTEEN, signed books from her at the signing in Chicago earlier this year) I am always blown away with her ability to put such simple, everyday words together and form some of the most beautiful stories I have ever read. And this story ranks right there at the top of the list. The emotion poured off the pages of this story. The storyline was incredible and so enthralling. The words flowed so seamlessly and kept me hooked. Zack is an incredible character, although he had what I considered a fatal flaw in the beginning of the story. He took everything at face value. Thank GOD he finally saw the light! And what a beautifully bright, shining light it was! Lindsay had a terrible life growing up. I could feel her pain and all the emotion she was going through. But every time she got knocked down, she would get back up (metaphorically speaking). She is one of the strongest female characters I have read about in a long time. I flove Taylor (Linsday’s BFF) and her devious mind!!! I want to punch Haven right in the junk! What a tw*twaffle! She seriously had me considering damage to my Kindle. My warning to you is this: If you only read one more book this year, THIS is the book to read. Please make sure you have tissues ready. And I call dibs, Zack is MINE!!!!

It only takes once….
That is what we are all told from a young age and it is a lesson Lindsay is learning real fast.
One teeny lie & night with Zack is all it took for her to find herself pregnant. Lindsay has crappy parents who never wanted to parent & she vows she will be the best mom she can be to her child.
It is understandable why Zack walked away from her after their night together, but it is what happens next that neither of them have any control over & has their lives changed forever.

The characters of Lindsay & Zack are well rounded and well developed. They grow from the beginning of the story where they are slightly immature & believed life was all about them, into mature
well balanced young adults and parents. It is a joy to read how they take to parenting like ducks to water. Above all else they put the needs of their child first.
They are the kind of young adults we all hope our kids grown into. The other side of them is that they learn very quickly to have each others backs. I loved the way Zack could read Lindsay so
well just from her body language & non-verbal queues.  Their relationship didn’t just grow, it blossomed. The support characters were fabulous. Everyone needs a bestie like Taylor!!

This author never ceases to amaze me with her words. She has taken a story that has been told many times before & spun it into her own unique tale of two people who are destined to be together
no matter what. From the moment I started this book I was transported to another world and swept up in the lives of Zack & Lindsay. I cried for them and laughed with them. This story was so well
told that  I felt like I was watching a movie play out in my mind.

This book is well worth grabbing a copy of, just make sure you have a couple of hours spare, because once you start reading, you won’t want to put it down until you finish!
