This book will hit you right in the “feels” and leave its mark on your soul. The characters were so well developed and the storyline flowed effortlessly. I love the concept of the story. I happen to love single father romances. They always leave their mark on my heart. Especially in the circumstances in this story. Ridge and Kendall’s story had me in tears nearly through the whole book. I swear this book has all the “feels” that I could ask for. There are several plot twists that had me on the edge of my seat desperate to see what would happen. It has been a long time since I have read a single parent book that has hit me this hard. I still had tears for them days later. I loved the group dynamic of Ridge and his friends. I always love to read a story where friends are that close. I loved Ridge and Kendall. Both characters are very complex in their own right and then when you throw them together, WOW. These two have an instant attraction, but it runs much deeper than that. I so fully engrossed in this story that I hated to see it end. I am anxiously awaiting the next book as I feel that all the “boys” need their own HEA’s.

Kaylee Ryan. I didn't know who she was until I read Unexpected Reality. Now, I need to thank her for giving me one of my favorite books. Heartbreaking. Heartwarming. Humorous. These are just some of the words I would use to describe this story. Ms. Ryan and her story induced so many feelings from me. I loved the way Ridge and Kendall instilled trust in each other, how their relationship was a slow building one that started with friendship. You really feel the connection they have. Ridge takes his like and responsibilities very seriously and puts the most important ones first.
The twists that are thrown at them almost had me in tears. Even though sad, the way Ridge steps up without a second thought is amazing. Not only him, but the support he has from his friends and family was breathtaking. It shows how they loved Ridge unconditionally. This whole story was one that I couldn't put down. If I stopped reading for whatever reason I then couldn't stop thinking about it. It's a fantastic book that I think will be a favorite for many. I'm glad that I gave it a chance.

This is a beautiful story about fate stepping in and setting things right!

Ridge is driving along one night when he comes across a bad accident and of course calls for help. Little does he know this moment in time is about to change his whole life.
He has a supportive group of friends and an amazing family that are by his side no matter what.

Kendall is finally in a happy place in her life and fairly content with how things are. Then she runs Into an old school friend who happens to be Ridges little sister. Her life will never  the same..

Overall this story was great. It is a beautifully written tale full of romance and happiness. There is a huge twist towards the end that I didn't not seecoming and it changes the dynamic and the direction of Ridge and Kendall's relationship. I think What stands out is the unconditional love and trust between these two, they have a very honest relationship and this helps the story progress and move along at a steady pace.

There was one negative for me and that was "what happened to Melissa?" Did Ridge organise a funeral for her or did he leave her In the hospital for the public trustee or someone to organise for her to be taken away? I would have thought under the  circumstances  Ridge would have addressed this or maybe even his mother.

That is my only negative, other than that I really loved the story.
Well worth one clicking!
