After a decade of serving in the Army, everyone still expects me to be Dominic 'Nicky' Costigan—the skirt-chasing player. They don't know I've been spending my days trying to figure out my post-military life. Including how to pick up guys.
When I meet Luke on a hookup app, he makes it clear it's for one-night only. That's fine with me, because I'm down to see what this silver fox can do. But after I arrive at his doorstep, it doesn't take long to realize we have serious chemistry, and we end up meeting again.
He's got more walls around his heart than a military base, but I think he's as addicted to me as I am to him. He can't resist me for long. I mean, who can? Except Luke's rules exist for a reason, and when I test his limits, things get complicated. Maybe too complicated.

This genre is quickly becoming a favorite. And this author combination is like the superstars of M/M.
It took all of 1 chapter before I was completely sucked into this story.
Dominic is an ordinary guy. He's also a Vet and he's dealing with things that alot of vets deal with after discharge. He's also sweet and charming and a bit of a clown. And even though they make him crazy, Dominick loves his family.
Luke and his grumpiness made me giggle more than once. Add in his teenage children and there are plenty of laugh out loud moments.
The chemistry between Luke and Dominick is smoking hot.
This book captured my attention and held me hostage until the very last word.
The dialogue is smart and funny. Sweet and witty. The lovin' hot and steamy.
There's angst and warm fuzzys. There's also a lesson about reaching out for the things you want.
This book is amazing.

“You do make my life more complicated, Dominic.” When his lips pursed, I went on quickly. “But I like complications now. LOVED LOVED LOVED!! I'm a sucker for a good story and an even bigger sucker for a good M/M story and this book had both... Double win!! I loved the complications as much as the ease of this book. Minimal angst and maximum sweaty lusty goodness makes for an amazing read every time!
I loved the "silver fox" because I could picture him completely. Older, wiser and definitely distinguished made this man hot as hell!! He was every bit alpha sprinkled in with a softness no one knew he had. His character was adorably commanding and PERFECT for Dominic. Dominic was unsure about many things but perfectly clear about what he wanted out of his new life from the service... Someone. He wanted someone to share the simplistic tasks in life as well as someone to drive him and crave him in a way he's never felt before.
These two were freaking awesome to read! Their story was smooth and believable with made the story flow well. These men were hot as ever and really steamed up the pages of the book and I found myself swiping left so fast my poor kindle couldn't keep up. Bottom line, READ THIS BOOK! Fantastic, easy and hot... Great addition to my library.

This storyline was wonderful. I loved the characters and their individual life situations. Dominic is a guy that is readjusting to life out of the service. He doesn’t really have a life plan in place. His upbringing was not the best, but deep down his family loves each other. Luke had a relationship go bad and has decided that he is not willing to go down that road again, so one night stands are his specialty. Until Dominic. I love the way these two families are intertwined. Their story provides just the right amount of drama to pull you in and keep you reading. I love how their story played out. These two characters were well developed and the storyline flowed effortlessly. No lagging in this book. You will be hooked from the start.

She lives in Pennsylvania with her very own nerdy husband and two kids. Although rather fun-sized, she’s been told she has a full-sized personality. When Megan isn’t writing, she’s either lounging with her two cats named after John Hughes characters or… thinking about writing.
