THE SCORE (Off-Campus #3) by Elle Kennedy ~ FMR REVIEW

BLURB:

He knows how to score, on and off the ice

Allie Hayes is in crisis mode. With graduation looming, she still doesn’t have the first clue about what she's going to do after college. To make matters worse, she’s nursing a broken heart thanks to the end of her longtime relationship. Wild rebound sex is definitely not the solution to her problems, but gorgeous hockey star Dean Di-Laurentis is impossible to resist. Just once, though, because even if her future is uncertain, it sure as heck won’t include the king of one-night stands.

It’ll take more than flashy moves to win her over

Dean always gets what he wants. Girls, grades, girls, recognition, girls…he’s a ladies man, all right, and he’s yet to meet a woman who’s immune to his charms. Until Allie. For one night, the feisty blonde rocked his entire world—and now she wants to be friends? Nope. It’s not over until he says it’s over. Dean is in full-on pursuit, but when life-rocking changes strike, he starts to wonder if maybe it’s time to stop focusing on scoring…and shoot for love.

The Score is the third book in the series and I love it just as much as the other books!! I loved the story, the characters, the writing, the humor, the emotion, everything about this book was just amazing! The author has this ability to stuck you in and you can't stop reading until you are finished!

I also enjoy when I can relate to a character on a personal level and I was able to do that with Dean. He went through a traumatic event, it was something very similar to something that happened to me.  I was able to sympathize with Dean and that drew me into the book more.

While I found this book to be a little more emotional than the previous books it still contained all the humor. I was laughing so hard through out the book. It was great to connect with previous characters. And that ending!!!! Not only was it a shocker that came out of nowhere, it was also the perfect set up for another book and I can't wait to read it!

Oh My Sweet Lord.
I've been trying to find the words that will really give this book, "The Score" the praise it deserves. So, each time I have been going back to look at my highlights, laughing...swooning... FEELING this book and then, I END UP READING THE WHOLE BOOK AGAIN. Six reads later, I think I'm just about ready to talk about it.

There are not enough words in the world that could describe my LOVE/Obsession/Fangirling for this author, the characters she creates and the flawless storylines that manage to keep me captured from beginning to end, EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.

"The Score" brings us Allie Hayes, a heroine who has already made it to my list of favourite lead females. She is having a difficult time going through a break-up and despite this being her choice, she is struggling with the reality of being out of a relationship, because this girl, DOES NOT DO SINGLE. She loves the security of being in a relationship, she loves being in love and wants the sunshine and rainbows, the HEA.
So who else to get Allie over this than the one and the only, Dean Di Lorentis, the ice-hockey defenseman/manwhore with zero filter and absolutely zero shame.
Sweet Mother of God...this guy is ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. He is hilarious, so freaking hot, he cares, he is sweet, he is loyal, and he is just one of the best lead males EVER. His POV, dialogue and character were all portrayed with complete brilliance.

I don't want to go into too much detail about the characters and the story the author has created, because it NEEDS TO BE READ BY EVERY PERSON I KNOW! I will seriously be hunting you all down and making sure this book is on your e-reader.
Spoilers are just zero fun and it would be a disaster to spoil this amazing book.

Elle Kennedy, has the ability to mix laugh out loud and choke on your coffee humour, REAL love, sweetness, SMOKIN' BURN YOUR HOUSE TO THE GROUND SCORCHING HOT SEX SCENES, heartfelt sobbing your life away sadness, and a connection between two characters that can be felt DEEP IN YOUR SOUL all spun into an epic read that will leave you hungover for days, weeks and months. The Score is my favourite book in this series to date and I cannot praise this book enough.

I adored every single word, every scene and the journey the author delivered. Dean and Allie both have a seat in my soul along with other characters Elle Kennedy has created and I cannot wait for Tucker and his story next!

This is easily my favorite book of the series. I loved every second.
Allie is a wonderful girl. She's determined to make her dream career happen. She's been working towards it too long to throw it away on an ultimatum. Even though she's been with her boyfriend for 3 years, she knows this is it. While nursing a broken heart, she's also put in a house with the biggest man-whore on campus.
One drunken night with Dean Di Laurentis and, she knows that casual sex isn't for her. She just wants to be friends, but Dean isn't having it.
These two, even if just friends are so great together. I loved the dynamic between them. They made everything seem so easy. Elle Kennedy wrote a story that I couldn't put down. I wanted to immediately start over and read it again. It's fun, beautiful, heart-breaking, but not in the ugly cry sense. I felt everything. I laughed so much. This story was just everything. If you loved The Deal and The Mistake, you'll definitely love The Score just as much if not more.

Each book in this series just gets better and better.  The writing in this book was amazing.  The story went in directions I wasn't expecting making the entire book unpredictable which I loved!

Dean was introduced in the first two books and always came off as kind of a wild card.  Yeah he was the rich playbook of the group but you couldn't help but wonder what he was hiding behind his carefree attitude.  This book answered all my questions.

Allie was this strange combination of strong and weak.  She could stand on her own two feet and make big decisions for her future but at the same time something unexpected and could happen that made her drown in doubt and indecision.

I loved the twist and turns this book took to get Dean and Alloe to their happy ending.
