This one pulls at your heartstrings..
How much can one little boy and his family endure?
Finn was born with Cerebral Palsy. He is 3 years old & spend so much time at the hospital. Lucky for him, his dad is a doctor.
Guy is a single dad to his two kids & they are literally the centre of his world.
Jules knows heartache. She lives with it every day. She also knows love. And she loves Guy & his 2 children. Now she needs to decide if
she can risk it all & give them all of her, because she already has all of them!!
Watch out for Jules’s dad Alonzo!! As they are Italian, when he speaks some of the words get lost in pronunciation & it is hilariously funny. Especially the
first time Guy meets them.. And I Mean pee your pants funny!!
This story doesn’t start off slow, quite the opposite, if starts off fast paced & continues at a steady rhythm all the way through.
This is one of those books that when the penny drops and the truth is revealed, it is shocking & leaves the characters reeling, It leaves them devastated.
It is so hard to fathom how someone you love and who loves you can do something so despicable.
There are moments of joy that are so pure you almost need tissues because they are filled with happiness. The sad moments will have you reaching
for tissues as your heart bleeds for the characters & what they have been through, what they are going through, and not just the main characters, but some of the secondary ones too.
This story comes full circle, and by the end things are as they should be & you are left wanting to know what happens in the next chapter of their lives.
It is emotionally devastating and joyfully uplifting all at the same time.
I love these authors and they have proved yet again their extreme talent for evoking a huge range of emotions through the power of their words.
I recommend this book & also their previous 2 books to anyone who loves books that make you feel. You will definitely get that from this book!!
5 Stars!
