TAP by Georgia Cates ~ REVIEW TOUR

Release Day: JANUARY 11, 2016

SYNOPSIS:

A faceless name. That’s all she was when I agreed to play a part in deceiving her. But then the unplanned happened.
We met. And all I wanted from her was a dirty weekend . . . until that wasn’t enough and I longed for so much more.
Lawrence Thorn suddenly means the world to me. And that’s a problem. She’s my business partner’s sister. Forbidden fruit. Pursuing her can mean trouble for me at Lovibond Brewery. But I don’t care.

I yearn for her skin against mine.
I crave her smell on my body.
I want to make her laugh and then hear her moan my name.
And she does for a brief moment in time.

But Lawrence wants more than I’m able to give. And it’s a damn shame because there’s no one on earth I want more than her.

An epic love.
A miserable ending.
Unless it’s not.

I loved the idea that the book is based around a group of guys who own a brewery! That was something new and fresh! This is a story does have the falling for the brother's best friend troupe and while I really like that kind of story I have read a lot of them. So, that put a slight damper on my feelings toward the book. Otherwise, it was a great read! It has the duel point of view, which I love when reading. I love getting both perspectives. I really loved Wren as a character. I thought she was very complex and fun. She has this tragic past but she doesn't let it get her down. Then there is Tap, for me he was an average character. I didn't find him boring but I also didn't find him overly exciting. These two definitely had this opposite attract thing going on, so that was fun to read. Overall, I found the story to be good, along with the writing. I have looking forward to reading the rest of the Lovibond Series!

I am in love with Lucas. There. I said it! I love to read a book where the man is the character that has obstacles to overcome.  This type of story always has me on the edge of my seat. Reading about a man that is coming to terms with and defeating his past is always an emotional rollercoaster for me. Lucas is an amazing man. He has a great relationship with his family. He determines what he wants out of all life and goes after it. Lawrence is an equally amazing character. She did not have the best start in life. But she now has a family that is as close as if they were blood. She knows her worth and will not settle for anything less than what she wants. And what she wants is Lucas. The author did an amazing job with all the description and detail. I can’t imagine what kind of hours went into the research for this story. I am very much looking forward to the next book in the series.

EXCERPT:

Lawrence Thorn

My eyes follow Brou as he leaves the bench and walks away. Sheez. His ass looks great in those jeans. And it looks pretty great not in those jeans too.
I can’t believe I had my hand wrapped around his cock.
I can’t believe he came in my hand.
I can’t believe he stood in front of me naked from the waist down.
I can’t believe he touched me with his fingers between my legs and then sucked them. Fuck. That was hot.
No one has ever made me come so hard in all my life. Brou gives quality orgasms. I can’t wait to have another.
