By now, you know that I love all things that involve Emma Hart. Seriously, if she didn't live an ocean away, you can bet that id be stalking her. She is easily one of my top 3 favorite authors ever.
Dirty Tricks is my favorite of this series. Kye is the softie of the group. Always there for whoever needed a shoulder to cry on or an ear to vent to. Well, it's about time he found the thing or person to keep him near their hometown. Chelsey just happens to be it. She doesn't volunteer easily though. She has a wall built up around her to keep anyone out that tries to break them down. Her upbringing wasn't the smoothest. Her dad walking out on her and her mom put a significantly large whole in her heart, and she never really recovered. He wasn't the best role model. So when a rockstar starts pursuing her, she doesn't accept him with open arms. She can be mean and stubborn, but that doesn't sway Kye.
I really didn't want this story to end. I knew it was going to be a bit of a bumpy ride when I started it. I just didn't realize how big the potholes we're going to be. Chelsey put up a fight. She made Kye work for it. But as it usually goes, you don't realize you're a goner until you've already fallen.
Emma Hart could publish her grocery list and I would read it. She has this way with words that just makes you completely captivated and 100% enraptured by the story. Before you know it, you're upon the epilogue and reading the final sentences. This series will be a reread for me. I won't be forgetting Kye Burke anytime soon, that's for sure.

Emma Hart has taken each and every one of us on one helluva journey with the Burke Brothers. I have been riding the Dirty-B Bus from beginning to end, fangirling at every stop and waiting not very patiently to get my hands on the most mysterious brother of them all, Kye Burke. This series has delivered everything us readers dream of and as it comes to an end with this final instalment, the only thing to do to get over that sadness, is JUMP RIGHT BACK ON THAT DIRTY-B BUS AND EXPERIENCE THE JOURNEY, ALL OVER AGAIN.
Chelsey Young is the girl on Kye's radar. After sharing a night of hot sex together, a night he hasn't been able to forget, he makes it his personal mission to be there at every turn, and make her see who he truly is and take a chance on him, not for the rockstar he is known for. Kye hasn't been able to think about anything but Chelsey, he felt their passion and just knows deep down she felt it too, despite her saying she cannot remember it.
Chelsey remembers EXACTLY what went down between her and Kye. He made her feel things she has never felt before and even though he rocked her world, she does not want to take it any further. Chelsea's character is amazing. She is so complex, her walls are built up so high, it would have to take something really phenomenal to break them down. I felt her pain, I appreciated her feelings and can completely understand her stubbornness and why she won't let anyone in. It took me a little longer to warm to Chelsey than it did with previous characters, but once I understood why she was so determined not to follow through with Kye, everything made sense and I was cheerleading for them both.
Kye Burke is the sweetest brother of all. I could not get enough of him and the way Emma Hart has portrayed his character and written his POV was just, perfect. He is funny, deeply caring, he is loyal, protective and wants that HEA that his brothers have. Out of all of the brothers, Kye is the most sensitive and for me, I could not get enough of it. We still were treated to that sexy side of his character which was oh so yummy, but it was his heart that stood out to me, overall. I laughed to the point of crying with two scenes in particular and Kye's sense of humour just added to the list of what makes him so special.
I really do not want to spoil the story, it truly deserves to be read, felt and appreciated by each and every reader. This book held emotion, laugh of loud moments and sweet sweet scenes that gave me butterflies in my stomach and goosebumps all over my skin. Emma Hart has given this story and the characters a uniqueness that will make this book stay with you forever. Her ability to deliver an outstanding dual POV is just one if the many things that makes this author one of my favourites.

Kye was amazing! He was the perfect mix of alpha and sweet. He wasn't afraid to do what he needed to do to prove how he felt. He understood what was going on and had the patients to see it through.
Kelsey was not a character I could connect to. Her constant back and forth grated on me. I don't think I would have minded it as much if she hadn't been chasing after him then turning around and blowing him off.
The storyline and writing were great like all the other books in this series. The cover is hot and really what drew me to the book in the first place. An overall good read.

She covers my hand with hers, the calculating spark fading from her eyes. They’re back to normal now, warm, with the ghost of laughter in their depths. “You’re right.”
“Of course I’m right. Burkes are never wrong.”
